Sello Rojo Espresso Brick, 10 oz - Bold & Flavorful Colombian Ground Coffee

It tastes pretty decent! The color is a nice dark espresso and it's super finely grounded for espresso machines or moka pots. The price is a big plus too. Great Value for money.

I had to switch from Bustelo espresso to Sello Rojo espresso for economic reasons. It is a very good feeling having Sello Rojo in my cupboard. It is strong and the taste is not too different than what I am used to. I really appreciate this coffee. I don't really know what type of coffee bean it is made from, but it makes a great cup to start the day!

This has a more dusky and smoky flavor compared with Bustelo and LaLlave, both of which we’ve used for years but whose recent price hikes seemed excessive, making us look elsewhere. Sello Rojo’s grind is finer and darker, and the oil content seems higher. We like it! It has a hint of the Greek and Turkish coffees we love so much - a more ‘adult’ taste. We’ll continue to order.

I’ve been using Sello Rojo’s espresso brick for a while now, and this 6‑pack has been consistently very good. It’s a deep, very dark roast with the bold, toasty notes you expect from this style. The flavor is strong but smooth, and it works well in moka pots and espresso. Overall, it’s a solid dark roast with a reliable profile. I’m giving it 4 stars only because the roast is intense enough that it won’t fit every brewing method or taste preference, but if you like a true dark espresso, this is a great choice.

I have an expresso machine because regular coffee does not do anything to help me wake up. Granted, my circumstances are different, as I am a caregiver and have to get up by 4:30, and most the time even much earlier every day!! (NO days off, EVER!!)!!_!!!!! What I love about this coffee is it very good and most of all AFFORDABLE!! I mix it in with other coffee grinds for the best flavor!

My parents love Sello Rojo; as Cubans, we are coffee experts. This is a strong and dark espresso with a balanced texture; it is incredibly fresh and has a delicious aroma. It holds its own against other renowned brands. Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This stuff is great!!! I usually drink Cafe Bustelo. But price keeps going up. I found this one and for the price, I thought what the heck? I'll give it a try. Glad I did. My new go-to coffee!!! A++ Amazon.

Initial review after 2 cups with cheap chefman espresso machine upgraded with bottomless portafilter. I do not recommend any espresso grind coffee in a pressurized portafilter as its not needed and will likely clog, needing to be burned out. Cup 1 - awful, scorched bean taste?... More watery than la llave at same coffee amount but not as watery as regular coarse ground coffee. Immediately regretted buying 6 lol. Cup 2 - actually didn't notice the scorched taste. Added a bit more coffee than usual to increase extraction time and get it to be less watery. Grind seems ok for espresso but probably not as fine/consistent as la llave if it results in more water. Cup 3 - increased amount again. Pretty good though it uses more coffee and a bit more time to pack into portafilter so may not be worth the savings. Flavor is nice and bold as far as espresso goes, however I've not tried the same larger amount in La llave or bustelo as they seem to have a better grind, not requiring as much. Upping to 4 stars for now. Would prefer if Amazon didn't tell me it was expected the day before when it came the next day but that is no fault of the coffee. Too many times I have changed my schedule for earlier arrival times that then get delayed back closer to or on original date.
