This is a great choice if you're looking for a WRGB light for a fresh water setup. Light intensity and colors are great. The app is simple and straightforward making the custom light adjustments easy for intensity, color, and time for on/off cycle. The build quality is close to the lights that are 3-4x more expensive. All my plants are showing signs of new growth, their colors look more vibrant, and so do my fish!Pros:- affordable- build quality- app controlled- very bright- customizable light spectrum for your plant needs- good customer serviceCon:- during automatic adjustments (once you've set your custom spectrum and times) the light does "step" adjustments. Not a gentle "fade" adjustment. Not a big deal for me, though.If you're looking for a customizable WRGB light to grow plants or to upgrade your tank with better lighting. Then, I highly recommend this product. If you're on a really tight budget, then I can even recommend the smaller lights they offer since the brightness and the light spread is really good.

It is very bright, slim, and while it does require you to install yet another phone app to control it, the app is functional and seems reliable. The stand is a little flimsy feeling but overall it looks great on top of a rimless tank. The quantity of light is excellent and my plants seem to be enjoying the upgrade. The scheduling function in the app seems to work reliably every day. I liked this one enough to buy a second one!

The media could not be loaded. Man I really really really want to love this light. It’s super bright and hella adjustable and makes my tank look awesome but it does have a few lil bugs. This is my first app controlled light, i typically use aquatop or cheaper amazon lights on my smaller tanks. Did have an aqueon 48” on this tank before this one but anyways, to start off the packing was open on one end to where the power supply fell out when I received it and none of the other packages I got that day were damaged in the slightest as well as the power cord where it plugs into the fixture itself was partially broke when I received it. Pictures will show all this. The app is decent, it only took me a little playing with it to figure it out. I didn’t have any connection issues after I got it originally connected. Took me a min to figure out how to update the firmware, (Apple version) you have to select the light, then hit the I that’s circled on top left corner and then click where it shows what version ie. v1.12. My main complaint is it blinks when transitioning between light settings(video). It does repeat itself every day and you can set it up to have a sunrise and sunset once you set up your own custom schedule under the custom tab. If you set it under auto it works too as far as repeating and is much quicker/easier but you can’t set it to have a sunrise/sunset, or atleast not that I’ve ever figured out. If it weren’t for these few things, this would be the best light on the market and I would order 5 more for my other tanks and possibly a second for this tank but I just got some 7” risers in today so that should help with the spread on my 75 gallon. I would really appreciate it if I could return for a replacement because I really do love the light but Amazon customer support didn’t offer that option. If the company would reach out that would be great!! Can’t figure out how to contact them 🙃I have not noticed it getting hot to where it would burn you so I’m not concerned with that. The legs were a little tricky at first until i figured out you had to unscrew the tiny screws from the bars to slide them thru the risers. Once i figured them out it has set nice and firm on top of tank. It is not waterproof so keep that in mind.Last pic shows where I’ve got the light set at. I started at about 10 degrees lower on all the levels for the first three weeks I had it and now bumped it to this a week ago. I’ve had the light one day shy of a month. Still trying to find the right settings, my crypts and such are trying to melt on me a little but thats typical. I am really impressed with the outcome of the light. It pops up the Red and green colour plants really well. This light is good enough to grow advanced aquarium plants. The Android APP also easy to setup the light, each colour spectrum can be controlled Individually and comes with the timer as well to switch on and off at the desired timing. It's very lite weight and the legs are adjustable. The design is on par with high end light @ affordable price. Definitely it's worth for the money. Mine is Brite 90CM light, it's a mix of RGB, white and UV Leds. I like to see an upvrade to come up with even more RGB light than the white LEDs.Highly recommended for beginners who want to setup a planted aquarium without spending too money on light.

Of all the lights I’ve purchased thru amazon, I find that my Brite series has been knocking them out of the park! It was easy to set up with a customizable timer and customizable light spectrum thru the app. They come in various sizes (I purchased the 36”) making it a great choice for a lot of different tank sizes. While the brackets that hold up the light were slightly more challenging when setting up (you have to screw them on instead of the standard “sliding” style) but once setup, it stays in place. Overall excited to see what mag tools releases in the future

The light seems pretty awesome for the price. Not sure it can be beaten in that aspect. You definitely aren't going to find a light with these features at the same price point.Build quality is pretty lightweight, which shouldn't be a shock at this price.My only issue has been the app. On my android phone there are issues to the point where I was about to return the light. My programs were disappearing ever time I connected to the light and the light time setting wasn't updating so the programs weren't coming on at the right time. I tried multiple ways to get it to work properly but it wasn't in the cards. Luckily I decided to try it on my iPad and it seems to be working fine there. YMMV. Three stars for that because it's the only way to control the light.The app itself is pretty intuitive though, which is good because there are zero instructions. Pretty much any option you would want for light cycles which is nice.
