FSAH 12 PCS Q-Hanger Hooks with Safety Buckle, Windproof Screw Hooks

I have a long stretch of new wooden fence this year and wanted to string lights along the top edge. I was going to use regular cup hooks until I saw these with the locking mechanism and I am so glad I did. I drilled holes but did not use the anchors as the lights are lightweight, but it sure is nice to have them for other purposes. I used the drill bit driver for about half of the 60+ hooks I installed. In a few cases, it scratched the vinyl coating partially off and in one case the screw broke from the hook. But that was small price to pay for the convenience of quickly screwing them in. The lights are up and working now and I don't have to worry about wind or a big river of snow from the snowplow - I know they will stay in place. The dark color is all but invisible on my dark brown stained fence and I will just leave the hooks up all year and next season will be a snap.

The hooks are great. They hold up well and are a nice size. The latch is very beneficial too. Only complaint is that the drill bit style tool they send with to install the hooks does not work very well because it fits off center on the hook and the drill follows the bit in a circular motion and makes it very unstable to try to screw into the wood straight and it scratches off the nice coating on the hooks. Worked better drilling a small pilot hole and then screwing in the hook by hand.

These were perfect for hanging patio string lights. They are strong and the clips are ideal for holding strength.

I got these hanger hooks hang the patio lights I bought from Amazon. They've kept the lights from coming off the house with the strong winds & rain. They come with all of the hardware & easy to install.

Hung a full string light setup with these hooks and they've stayed put through some genuinely windy nights that would've ripped out cheaper hooks. The safety buckle design makes installation quick, and 36 in a pack is plenty for a whole patio or fence line.

Started with a small starter drill bit. Went to a secondary bit to slightly enlarge hole. Finished with around an 11/64. If you don’t step up in hole size, hook will break off during install. Good luck.
