Sophie Backpack, Black, 15" Laptop

Love the simple, clean, yet trendy look of this backpack. The first one I ordered came with a ripped handle, but the company was quick to respond and replace the item. The replacement arrived within 24 hours and was in perfect condition! The backpack itself is perfect for me as a graduate student. It comfortably fits my heavy school books, notes, and folders, and my 13" MacBook fits nicely in the padded laptop zip pocket with plenty of extra room. I love the striped interior of the backpack! It adds a nice feminine touch. I also love the addition of the "safety pocket" to store credit cards/wallet and protect them from identity theft, it's a great feature! I commute to work and school in all kinds of weather and so far this backpack has held up nicely through it all. The nylon exterior has kept my electronics dry on rainy days. Absolutely no signs of wear and tear after about 1 month of use. Echoing previous reviews, I do rather dislike the cheap look of the label on the outside and the fact that the side pockets only have one zipper making for a less than snug fit for a water bottle/umbrella... but these are just minor annoyances. Overall, it's a great backpack. It looks clean and sleek, has lots of pocket space, and holds up well. Perfect for school or even casual business, and the affordable price is an added bonus.

I bought this for my daughter in law for Christmas. She loved it. It zippers opened easily and the straps were comfortable when she put it on. The bag didn't crumple in like some do when they aren't full. It has a lot of little pockets to organize your things and it is big enough to hold a laptop. The shorter straps keep it more secure on your body.

The design of this backpack is much like the expensive Tumi backpacks that run up to several hundred dollars. For $70-$100, I get the same chic look with this backpack. I also love how many pockets it has. It can be used for laptop and tech gear, or if your a sporty person, the different pockets are great for storing all sorts of things like small shampoo bottles, flipflops, and other personal necessities. The backpack is great for any purpose really. Traveling, gym, commuting... it does it all. I've had mine for two years now. It's a bit scuffed up but it's still going strong. My only complaints is that the loops of the shoulder straps are a bit hard to maneuver (shorten and lengthen) sometimes. It's a lightweight, cheap back pack that has a cute look, which is exactly what I needed.

I've been looking for a travel backpack for a while now. This one fit the bill. The side pockets are just right for putting my water bottle in, it is large enough to fit my laptop, and my little things are accessible in the front pockets. When it came I was a little hesitant that it wasn't going to pass the "paper towel roll" test ( fitting a whole roll of paper towels in the main section), but it did! Meaning that it could hold a good amount of clothes or a small travel blanket. Sophie also looks very stylish! This bag looks a lot more expensive than it is. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is the zippers are a little stickie. I haven't actually used it yet, as it's for when I go on my next trip, so I am not sure if that is going to get easier. I will update this review is that changes. It is also pretty light weight which is great, not sure how well the nylon exterior is going to hold up. Over all I am VERY happy with m y purchase. This bag looks more expensive than it is. I was looking at others that were in the hundreds of dollars. Knowing I'm probably only gonna use it a few times a year I figure this is a very good choice.

Had enough room for toiletries, laptop, etc.

Figured I’d leave a review since there aren’t many reviews about this bag and I depend on reviews to make a purchase so I’m sure there’s others like me. First let me start off my by saying this is a shared amazon account under my husband’s name. I say this because I’m always skeptical when I see reviews on a women’s product left by accounts with a man’s name and I wonder did the company write the review lol. With that said! This bag is everything I was looking for! I needed a backpack for work. I was using my Kate Spade Watson purse as my laptop bag and for a while and it served a purpose but the weight on my shoulder became unbearable. This bag is lightweight, stylish, and has so many compartments. The material feels soft and amazing. It also comes with limited lifetime warranty! There’s a space for a tablet also. Which I don’t need to use for work since I just carry a laptop back and forth but it’s nice to have the option for both! There’s a similar bag I was looking at that I almost purchased before finding this one and the price on the bag is almost $400. This bag is pretty much the same thing for way less!! Save yourself the money and get this bag instead if you find yourself as conflicted as I was!! You won’t regret! Your shoulders and wallet will thank you! So far so good!

To be honest I was debating between a 4 or 5 star rating. Love all the compartments, super easy to be organized. It’s not a super large bag so it doesn’t look bulky or will kill your back when you over stuff. Very sturdy and hella functional. The only minor downside is the zipper color. It’s like yellow gold, the stitching is a lighter color and the zipper pull thingie is darker gold more rose gold. It’s odd and does make the bag seem cheap if you look really closely at the zipper and stitching. But honestly, it’s the best bag I’ve found for the size, color, price and functionality. It’s great for travel and business which is what I use it for. It’s in-line with a lot of the higher brand travel backpack ie Travelpro, Tumi, Briggs & Riley, Away, etc.

Story time: My late partner and I have had backpacks that we literally carried of lives in - computer, important docs when needed, meds, change of clothes, etc (I’m sure you get the point). Since he unexpectedly passed last August, I cannot use my backpack - I just can’t. Which brings me here. I have been stupidly obsessed with finding a new backpack (grief) that I love as much as I did that one but didn’t want the same one. I have purchased a few contenders that I like but didn’t love. I stumbled upon this one and I am so glad I did. It’s not as large as my other one but for this stage of life it seems to be perfect and I love it. It just arrived so I will update accordingly. It fits my laptop, which is thick with a second screen, my purse - yep, dropped the whole thing in it, place for those docs or legal pad, and still have room with the front storage pockets as well as a change of clothes (if folded correctly, not a bulky sweater or jacket though). It’s stylish - sleek, modern and professional. It doesn’t screen age appropriate. Again, I love it and will update on the durability in time.

Sin duda, esta mochila se ha convertido en mi favorita. Es cómoda, resistente y luce maravillosa. Tiene muchos compartimentos que permiten organizar todo lo necesario. La utilizo para viajes cuando llevo mi computadora de 15" y es muy funcional pues cuenta con una correa trasera que permite sostenerla en la maleta.

I am so happy with this purchase. Has a lot of spacious deep pockets for organisation. I love that the laptop pocket is seperate. It is water proof and it feels comfortable when carrying compared to few of my backpacks purchased before. This is perfect for study, work and travel. I recommend this bag for University Students, working moms or full time moms at home. Will last a long time when properly taken care of.

I’ve been using this bag for 3 months. It’s roomy and smart. Easy to carry on the back as well as on top of a carry on case. Smooth zippers. Looks good. Beware though that: 1. The zippers are almost too smooth - if not closed to the side, they will slide open on their own. 2. Some seams are already starting to Cona part through fraying. Nothing major but disappointing.
