Bought for our trip to Amsterdam, Belgium, Paris and London so we could travel with our Shark hair dryer. My daughter uses it to style long blowout curls, I use the diffuser for my curly/wavy hair. Converter was used in each country without any issues, worked like a dream. Yes, its a little heavy, but you're not buying it for its lightness. You're buying it because it does the one thing none of the other converters promise to do. No problems with compatibility, it was easy to use, very durable, and I liked having a couple of plugs to work with on top for my other needs. I travel with a charging block so overnight I plugged all my portable devices into my charging block, the block into the converter and everything was ready in the morning. I never write reviews but knew if this converter let us use our blow dryer in Europe, I was going to come sing its praises to let others know. 10/10, would buy again. Photo is from our hotel in Belgium, the only European hotel with a power plug in the bathroom.

Excellent, not noisy, easy to use, worthy for his value, works extremely well and its safety to use, protect my cap machine and didn’t have any problems with the voltage. It weighs a little for his sizes but works amazingly well.

Worked perfectly on tour to 220-240 V countries including use of powerful hair dryers my family uses! Also, has useful multiple openings and adapters. Great buy!

Great step-down voltage converter. I used it to drive a Crown Class A/B 800-watt amp. I didn’t have any issues until I powered down the unit and something happened that broke it. Yang from HYTED support was a big help; he sent a replacement unit via express delivery. I suspect that if you use this transformer to power an audio amp, it’s best to make sure your whole power chain is grounded. The replacement unit has been working flawlessly, and I would not hesitate to buy it again. Great value for the money—the size and form factor can’t be beat.

One of them stopped working after one 2 days but the others are working well. I’m super glad I bought them. I’m hoping that I can exchange the third one when I get back to the states.

This adapter saved my day. After unboxing my Braun Triforce Power Blender and finding that it was incompatible with our local 240V 50A power supply, I was dejected. Thanks OpenAI for saving my day and directing me straight to this power adapter which solved my problem within a few days of ordering it on line.

I made the mistake of asking a family member to buy me a hair dryer from america as it’s been on my wishlist for a while and the colour I love was limited addition and not available in the uk. Didn’t factor in that the voltage would be different. I was a bit worried and skeptical as usually voltage converters don’t have high wattage but it really does work! My hairdryer has not experienced any faults which was my main worry. I’m yet to take it abroad with me into the eu but i’m sure that it’ll work just as fine as it does now. It does have a little bit of weight to it but really nothing crazy. Definitely worth the money especially as I couldn’t return the hair dryer.
