i Play. Brim Sun Protection Adjustable Hat for Baby's Head, Neck, & Eyes

Great hat fits great !! Did get a bit floppy when when but no biggie !!!

The material feels nice and the fit is good. I especially like that it is adjustable for baby's growing head circumference. I also like that there is a breathable inner layer that looks like it will absorb the sweat and keep baby comfortable. I agree with others that it may be too floppy and fall in front of baby's eyes, but I think it is difficult to strike a balance between a brim that is too wide (floppy) and not wide enough (doesn't block sun), so I'm ok with it being a little on the floppy side. What really surprised me was the poor construction quality; I expected better from such a popular product. The stitches are a complete mess (photo attached). It looks like some amateur sewing that I'd do at home. Fortunately, it seems to be just cosmetic and doesn't look like it's going to cause the hat to come apart (we'll see, I just got it...)

My great nephew is adorable, however he is a big guy with a big head at 6 months old. Finding well fitting Headgear can prove difficult for this little man! I saw this adjustable wide brim hat..noticed that the fit ran long between ages, and decided this had his name written all over it. My Niece and I felt that the size 6-18 month span should work...and it did. Fits over head circumference well, and we can adjust in back. Since it can also be tied under chin, then all is good. His Daddy is a Doctor, and he loved the way the wide brim shadowed baby's head, face AND SHOULDERS to keep his baby skin safe. That this has an spf and can be worn in the pool is terrific! Expect I will probably buy another color of these soon. So cute! Recommend to all parents.

I actually haven't used this hat outside of the house yet, so this is more of a review for the i play products in general. We have been using the i play hats for months with our infant daughter and cannot say enough good things about them. They are extremely affordable and I love the protection they offer with the SPF 50. They wash up very well, too. I am constantly worried about my daughter not being protected from the sun exposure, but feel she is very well protected with these hats. (Their reusable swim diapers are pretty awesome too).

I don't think you can call this hat a unisex hat, it looks like a girls hat. Even though you can adjust the size around there head the brim is ridiculously large and gets in their eyes, and the strap around their chin, they can easily pull that off. It's great for sun coverage but overall I probably wouldn't buy this even for a baby shower gift.

My baby looooves the water and ocean but he's skin was so fair. At first I was weary of using sunscreen on a 4 month old since its not recommended (I use it now though) so I would just put this hat on my baby and face him away from the sun. I didn't expect it to fit perfectly.. Babies heads grow so fast I just wanted it to last a while before he outgrew it but it wasn't a problem. There's a draw string so you can make it snug and there's a chin strap you can tie which helps when the wind blows. It covers his shoulders too.When the hat was too big I would just wet it in the water so it "sticks" it's also a good idea to wet it on a windy day.

If you are going to add a bunch of product tags, make sure the barbed plati piece that attaches the tag to the hat can be removed. The interior end of the plastic piece somehow didn’t extend through the mesh liner of the hat and will now be stuck in limbo between the exterior and interior mesh piece.Otherwise, it’s really cute and can’t wait to use it when our little guy arrives!

Ordered one of these for each of my kids 2 years ago. They have worked great ever since. I chose the hot pink and bright orange so my kids are easy to spot at the pool or beach. They stay on, the kids voluntarily wear them and the size is very flexible. All 3 hats are a size 2-4 years, but we recently spent a week on the beach and they're still fitting my 3, 6 and 8 year olds. They also fit all of them 2 years ago. The kids don't get hot and sweaty under the hats, and it keeps the sun off them well. Couldn't be happier!
