Great Quality. Perfect for a Home Gym.
Excellent bench for my home gym. I matched it up with the Flybird squat rack. Perfect combination to cover multiple weight training exercises. The bench was so easy to assemble and the fact it folds down makes it a great choice to use in a small room or apartment. The spring lock on the bench back is so easy to adjust, that's what sold me on this bench. It looks like a quality bench and performs as it should.

Early review
Early review: so I can’t give it 4 stars because I knew from the start it was about 2-3 inches taller than the norm for standard bench. However yes it is taller so please keep that in mind I’m 5’7 and when lying down I’m not flat to the ground for my feet. Also yes the padding isn’t soft at all it’s pretty stiff. That being said I think it looks nice and at least mine the build quality on it is good for the price. Easy to build everything was included and I feel secure on it mine does not wobble or anything it feels good and planted. Overall yes it is not perfect but I like it and for the time being it’s solid

Good bench for the price, but a few minor issues make it less than perfect
There are so many positive reviews of this bench that I'm not going to bother to get into the good aspects. And to be clear, I generally really like this bench. But there are a few issues that should be noted before purchasing or you may end up less than satisfied. IN no particular order: -The bench does not go to a 95 degree position (5 degrees of decline from vertical) like the listing claims. The one picture I posted shows the most vertical position the bench can be set at. The unfortunate thing is there is no reason there couldn't be a setting closer to vertical. In fact, I took a drill with some metal bits and drilled a new hole in the bottom rail so that the pin can be locked into a spot that makes the bench close to vertical. This took about ten minutes and completely solved this problem. -The feet of the bench tend to come off the bottom foot tubes. I solved this by sticking some double-sided adhesive tape on the ends of the tubes and jammed the caps back on. They have not come off since. -The bench is a little short when in certain positions and doesn't provide support for the back of your head. I am 6-1 but have a long torso, and if I raise the seat up a little bit my head ends up slightly off the bench. For most exercises this isn't a problem, but occasionally (incline chest presses for example) I have run into this and been annoyed. I am considering making a little extension pad that I can screw into the end of the bench to fix this, but have not gotten to it yet. -The seat of the bench flares out a bit too wide at the end and is sometimes a little annoying. That's about it. I really like the lightness of this bench, making it easy to move around, and the ease of folding it up if I want to store it away. The foot pads on the bottom work very well. But most importantly, the $160 price I paid was about half (or less) than most other higher-end benches. And this is why despite the flaws I pointed out, I am still giving this a 4-star rating and review.

Sturdy and functional
Great, sturdy bench! Not wobbly or ricketty like some budget benches. I love that it folds up, so perfect for a home gym with limit space. Very comparable to a commercial gym bench. The instructions to put it together were super easy to follow. It’s comfortable and looks great.

Very easy to fold up and stow away. Built well.
This is a great work out bench for my RV. It folds up and stores easily for traveling. I have used this bench almost everyday and it has held up perfectly. I would definitely buy again.

Solid bench for a good price
Really happy with this bench so far. It’s sturdy, comfortable, and feels like it can handle some serious use. The padding is thick enough to be comfortable without feeling soft or unstable, and the whole thing has a heavy-duty feel to it. Nothing wobbles or shifts around when you're working out, which is exactly what you want from a bench like this. Adjusting it is quick and easy—everything locks into place without a fight, and it feels secure in every position. I’ve used it for everything from dumbbell presses to step-ups to core work, and it’s held up great. The folding design is a nice bonus too. It doesn’t take up much space when stored, and setup takes just a few seconds. For the price, this is a great value. It feels like something you’d find at a gym, but it’s designed smartly for home use. If you’re looking for a reliable bench that won’t break the bank, this one’s a solid pick.

It'll do. You get what you pay for
You get what you pay for. When I bench 110 pounds it does wobble slightly. It's good enough for now but I'll probably eventually upgrade to a rogue fitness bench but they are around $700

Mold
6/4/21 Edit: Updated from 3 to 5 stars. I would recommend flybird. They stand behind their product and go the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied. Even though I had problems with this bench, they made it right by sending me a replacement. When I found an issue with the replacement bench, they sent the appropriate parts to fix it along with a gift card for the inconvenience. 5/5 for customer service. If they're able to improve quality control, they would be a stellar company. See below for more detailed review of bench. 5/29/21 Edit: Updated from 1 to 3 stars. A company rep reached out to me and offered a replacement. The rep seemed to really care about the customer experience and the replacement bench was shipped quickly. However, the new bench had 2 issues: 1. It's missing one of the round stoppers on the leg of the bench that keeps the bench in place. 2. The seat cushion is banged up / bent on the edges and seems a little unstable. The upper portion of the bench is also wobbly. I would give FlyBird 5 stars for their great customer support but 3 stars for the quality control of the bench. Bench Performance: I worked out with the bench once so far and it held up well. I'm 5'11, weigh 165 lbs, and used adjustable dumbbells (up to 50lbs each, so max of 100lbs). Although the bench did feel a bit wobbly at times, it did not feel unsafe at the current weight. However, I would not feel as comfortable using this bench if I was lifting above my body weight. Bench Ergonomics: The seat is very wide so might take a bit to get used to. The bench is taller than the normal benches you would find at the gym so might be harder to plant your feet on the ground when bench pressing, but it's still usable for me. The bench adjusts easily between flat/incline/upright positions. Bench footprint: This bench is light weight and assembles/disassembles very easily (literally takes 10 seconds) and can be stored away without taking up much space. This was one of the bench's main appeal and it did not disappoint in this aspect. Conclusion: If you want a light weight bench that is easily set up and put away, and do not plan on lifting very heavy, I think this bench is a good choice (as long as you receive a working product). I'll continue to workout using the bench for now and update my review if needed. ____________ Original Review: This item arrived with mold growing out of the seat. Not sure if it's inside the seat foam, but there is mold on several surfaces of the bench. Needless to say, this is a health hazard and I would recommend a careful inspection of the item before use.
