This is an update of a previous review I made on July 24th, 2020. I was first introduced to Resveratrol as a way to partially explain the phenomenon known as the “French paradox”. As much as I love drinking great red wines, especially Pinot Noir which has been shown to have a higher concentration of Resveratrol than other reds, I was looking for a supplement that would provide me the beneficial and medicinal effect without having to resort to consuming large quantities of wine. I am convinced that Resveratrol has helped to elevate my HDL cholesterol (the good cholesterol), which is one of the main reasons I take it. However, I’ve also discovered that Resveratrol has many other potential beneficial effects, including its’ anti-aging properties associated with Sirt-1 gene function. A little over a year ago I discovered the Purity Labs Trans-Resveratrol product. It is organic (very important to me), one of the highest strengths, and produced under the most rigorous standards of any I've found on the market. I am very impressed with the company, their personnel, and their customer focus. They come across as people who are genuinely concerned about their customers and providing them products that are of the highest quality, purity and potency of any supplements on the market. As I mentioned in my previous review, one will never really know if Resveratrol will prolong life - you just need to have faith in the product and believe the research data. I don’t think you’ll find a better Resveratrol supplement than that made by Purity Labs.

If your not on THAT product's page then your results may vary. Really like this product. Bought it for the anti-oxidant and anti-aging properties. Didn't know about the weight loss benefit until I read the bottle closely, but noticed my stomach flattening out after week or so. These are CAPSULES, not a powder. As capsules there is no taste. You only take two a day - and only two a day. Updated 10/27/2016: I no longer buy this version because of a bait and switch that they did regarding amounts and price. I now order Trusted Nutrients 100% Pure Resveratrol, 1000mg, 180 Count: Special Anti-Aging Blend with Trans-Resveratrol, Grape Seed Extract (Standardized to Contain 95% Polyphenols), Acai, and More! The Most Complete Anti Aging Supplement... 180 capsules for $29.95. Updated 12/05/2017: No longer buying Trusted Nutrients brand. At this time they have switched suppliers and their product smells vile, as in makes you gag. I will give this product and another a chance and amend the review as needed. First ordered Abundant Health's Resveratrol July 17, 2014 and then November 20, 2014 and BOTH times the product reads on my Amazon Invoice page(s); Abundant Health PURE TRANS-RESVERATROL PLUS SUPER ACAI, GRAPE SEED, & MAQUI BERRY BLEND EXTRACT - 180 Vegetarian Capsules = Full 90 Day Supply - NATURAL Antioxidants, $19.95 NOW when you go to their product page it's; Abundant Health Trans-Resveratrol Anti-aging Blend Supplement with Green Tea, Acai, Grape Seed Extract, and Antioxidant Vitamin C, 60 Capsules $39.95 That's an INCREASE in price and removing much of the product (180 capsules - 60 = 120 GONE). Or $0.11 per capsule (before), $0.66 per capsule (now). Classic bait and switch used by street dealers of less than wholesome substances - get 'em hooked, then raise the price.

I have been taking for a couple days and already feel a difference in mood, cognitive functioning and energy levels. I felt I had inflammation in my body and noticed that the discomfort has not been an issue. Enjoying the product and will see if the benefits for kidneys, blood, and stress improves when I retake my bloodwork in a few months. The price was great and love that it's organic supplement.

Enhanced with Quercetin, this supplement may just be one of the missing links you, dear and gentle or fierce reader, will use to build your immune system. Research suggests that Transresveratrol and Quercetin may possibly prevent, eliminate or at least reduce the duration of (*ahem*) a certain highly undesirable respiratory disorder that’s proliferating which shall not be named, but everyone knows what I’m talking about here, right? Not only that, but (shown somewhere within the 12,000 or so studies on Transresveratrol) folks are likely to experience improved brain function and mood from the ingestion of this supplement, especially if you practice clean eating. This allows you to build on instead of lessen the other benefits of Transresveratrol’s and Quercetin’s anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidants. Reverse or delay Alzheimer’s anyone? Sign me up! Originally I have used these (as well as the combination of other recommended supplements) as part of The One Spirit Medicine detox protocol.
