AlwYs let your liquid settle or clear first..
Works good ... always allow wine/juice ect to settle and clear first.. works excellent that way. If you got a cloudy particle filled liquid the particles Will quickly clog the filters..

Not Compatible with Buon Vino
The knock off filters are not compatible with the Buon Vino filters, see photos. It appears the mounting holes are punched/drilled backwards so the rougher side of the compatible filters are facing the rear when installed. This effects the filtering because the rough side catches the larger particles in the wine. The material is also different, seems inferior/cheaper quality. I used a set of the compatible to filters to filter a red wine, then filtered it again to see if there was a difference. There was, the Buon Vino filters picked up more particles. I know because the front of their filters had a slime on it. I purchased the knock offs by mistake, never again, money down the drain.

Very low quality, fall apart and leak out of the sides. Donot work nearly as good as Buon Vino brand
I've been making about 40-50 gallons of wine per year for the past 10 years. What normally takes 2 sets of Buon Vino brand filters to filter 10 gallons of wine, took me 9 sets of these cheap filters. Most of them leaked out of the edge of the filter 2 seconds after I turned on the pump. When I did get a set that did not leak, they only lasted 30-40 ounces before either clogging or leaking. I went through a years worth of filters in one day with these low quality filters. Bottom line is paying less but using more and taking more time is not worth it.

Don’t send this way.
Shouldn’t send it out if package is damaged. This is how it was sent.

I bought these pads to try them and after pre soaking, the pads were very brittle, fragile, tore easily and spills all over. You have to manipulate very gently. As for filtering; well, I doubt it did the job , for it’s very hard to confirm. But personally, Next time, I will buy original Buon Vino pads.
