Typical excellent Brinks quality. Very easy to use, set combination to your code, and has lasted well in our varied weather conditions. Highly recommend, and will buy again if needed.

Lock seems very strong. Has been out in the weather for a couple of months and the dials still spin freely. Changing the combination was a little bit of a pain, needing to use a little thing that it shipped with. I really do prefer the lock where you just put the shackle opposite the lack and push down and change the dials. Always worried about losing the little tool.

Item is good quality and easy to set. Issue for me is the numbers are small and do not pop so that you can easily see number. I will order another lock as I cannot make use of this one.

One of these locks failed within just a few weeks of being put into use. Had to cut it off of gate. Now I have three left that I do not trust. Just going to replace them all. Never again, total waste of time and money.

I choose this lock system for a storage area where I store my things in my community condo building area. The extra long hook was just what I needed so I don't have to struggle with the short one I had. The lock has four numbers for me to set to choose that I will remember for that lock. My old lock had a series of turning to numbers right and left dial kind. Those numbers provided in that lock system had no meaning to me and sure I did forget what they were after a period of time .lol

High quality lock, fast shipping! Must push in a little to lock or unlock. Works well, I plan on buying a second one for back door of my trailer.

I bought this to lock our pistol cases... the hasp and lock are very sturdy. The combo is easy to change using the tool included.

I have had to have two of these fail. The first was over a year old, so we planned to replace them yearly. But, now I have a second one that has failed just a could of weeks after purchasing. Both were used outdoor, but both had overhead cover. Surprised.

I put it on a storage unit that is outdoors, as it is advertised that it can be used for gates outdoors. It worked just fine and I was very happy with it. Until one day (last week) it just didn’t open. I opened it using the correct combination one day, and the next day that combination just stopped working. It’s winter, but the temperature outside was above freezing, so I couldn’t even explain it by cold. I was very confused and just not sure what to do. We tried to open it for a couple of days and ended up having to remove the safety hasp completely and get a new one. It was very frustrating and I am quite disappointed. Now I have the lock that is basically useless and I cannot use.

I bought four of these. Within a couple of years, all of a sudden one wouldn’t accept the combination. Nothing worked and I had to use bolt cutters to break it off. I thought it was just one defective unit and so I got a replacement. Then another one of them did the exact same thing just a few weeks later. I’ll just go back to key locks when the rest fail. Brinks should be more careful about what products it puts its name on!
