Spigen Liquid Air Case for Google Pixel 9a - Matte Black

I’ve been using the Spigen Liquid Air case on my Google Pixel 10 Pro and it’s easily one of the best cases I’ve tried for daily use. From the moment I put it on the phone, it feels incredibly well‑designed and thoughtfully engineered. The texture is one of the first things I noticed — the slim, matte finish not only looks sleek but also gives the phone a secure grip in hand without feeling sticky or slippery. It keeps fingerprints and smudges to a minimum, which helps the phone stay looking clean all day. Despite its minimal profile, the case still offers excellent protection. The flexible TPU material absorbs shocks really well, and the slightly raised edges around the screen and camera give added peace of mind by keeping delicate surfaces off flat surfaces. I’ve already dropped the phone a couple of times with the case on and came away with no marks on the device — which says a lot for a case this thin. The cut‑outs are precise and the buttons remain crisp and easy to press, with no mushiness or resistance. Wireless charging also works perfectly without having to remove the case, which is hugely convenient. Overall, the Spigen Liquid Air case is my go‑to case for the Pixel 10 Pro. It strikes the perfect balance between slim looks, everyday protection, and a premium feel, making it a great choice if you want a case that enhances the phone without adding bulk. You can't really beat Spigen for quality, affordable phone cases. Every time I get a new phone, it's the first place I look to buy a case. This case feels lovely. It's got a nice texture to it, so not slippery in the slightest. I don't feel like I'll lose grip and drop the phone because of that. It feels pretty durable. They're always a decent quality, feel rugged without looking overly buky. It fits nicely around the sides, the camera on the back and doesn't overlap the screen at all. The lips around the screen and camera are slightly raised, so when you put the phone down, you're not touching the surface with the parts that could scratch. Super easy to put on and take off. All ports cut out, buttons all press perfectly.

Spigen are always my go to for cases as the quality is good and the price is reasonable. Always a good fit on the phone and offers good protection, tested multiple times over the years from various drops. Minimal packaging, which is nice to see.

The Good I’ve been a Spigen fan for years, so this was my immediate go-to for the new Pixel. The "Abyss Green" is a cracker of a coluor—it’s dark, subtle, and looks way better than just another boring black slab. The grip on the Liquid Air series is always spot on, too. It’s got that textured back so it doesn't feel like a wet bar of soap when you’re trying to take a photo. If you actually have the standard Pixel 9 or the 9 Pro, it’s a perfect, slim fit that doesn't bulk out your pocket. The Bad Alright, look, I’ll take some of the blame here, but the naming convention is a nightmare. I bought this for my Pro XL, thinking "9 Pro" covered it. It doesn't. This is for the smaller Pro. The listing could’ve been a bit more "in your face" about the sizing difference, especially since Google changed the lineup this year. If you’re a tired dad clicking "buy" at 11 PM, it’s very easy to mess this up. Double-check your screen size before you hit checkout or you’ll be doing a return like I had to. The Verdict Typical Spigen quality—it’s tough, looks premium, and won't break the bank. Just make sure you aren't an idiot like me and actually check if you have the XL or the regular Pro. If you have the right phone, it’s probably the best sub-£20 case you can get.

Feels great, speak design, fits perfectly, not intrusive or bulky easy to pop on and off

I only purchase Spigen cases as I know they are top quality. I particularly like the texture of this case which makes it secure to hold and is not remotely slippy. The texture also enhances the richness of the colour. When paired with the Spigen screen protector it offers excellent protection for your phone. It bounces if dropped. I just wish there was a bigger variety of colours but love the navy and previously had a green one which was also a rich colour. It fits well and all buttons and charging socket easily accessible. Had my old cover for 2/3 years so I know it will.last. It is very neat and doesn't make my phone bulky.

A simple classic case from a quality brand. After temporarily using some cheap cases from China/AliExpress, I can say that this case "hugs" the phone much better, without corners slipping out, etc.

Cumple con su función, es bastante cómoda

Feels good in hand and looks even better in person. I have not tried wireless charging yet. The gap between the camera bump and the case could be tighter.

Product grippy.but traps water and dust in large gaps in pattern back

Llevaba dudas entre la Liquid Air y la Armour, así que compré y probé las dos, y al final me quedo claramente con la Liquid Air. Es bastante menos voluminosa, el móvil se siente más ligero en la mano y no da la sensación de “ladrillo” que sí tengo con la Armour. El agarre es excelente gracias a la textura y al acabado gomoso, lo que hace que el Pixel 9 Pro XL se sienta muy seguro y con menos riesgo de resbalones. Menos volumen que la Armour, más cómoda para uso diario. Muy buen agarre, textura antideslizante que da mucha seguridad. Ajuste perfecto, buenos recortes y botones con buen tacto. Protección suficiente sin sacrificar comodidad ni diseño discreto.

I have also use spgen cases to protect my phone. This case is perfect. It fits perfect. Lightweight and good grip. Would buy spigen again worth every penny.
