Top Quality
This no gimmicky toy. It’s a solid, built to last, piece of training equipment. I bought it to use on my gym off-days and for travel. It has two grip position points, which are very effective. It has a unique weight distribution configuration that uses the inner frame of the door and doesn’t stress the molding or other exterior points. It’s simple to assemble, with the included wrench, in a few minutes. Great quality for the price.

Just about perfect so far.
Just what I needed. And the price that I paid on Amazon was actually more affordable than Walmart and a couple of dollars less than it is now. So I guess I ordered mine at the right time, a time where Amazon was feeling a little generous I guess. I've only had this item for like 40 mins, and I had a good feeling about it from the start. Assembly was pretty simple(took about 10-12 mins), and all parts were there except for the ab straps which I don't really need anyway; because with this I can easily improvise. It fits nicely above the closet doorway which is about 2.5 ft wide or about 2ft. 7in., and it holds my weight very well; I'm 180. I still have yet to try it out on a wider door frame, but I'm sure that it will fit above the other doors as well. A very nice tool for fitness enthusiasts and a great way to build strength and muscle when the dumb bell set just isn't enough anymore. A very nice and affordable gift for someone who likes to workout a lot. I've been wanting a chin up bar for a long time, and now I finally have one and I love it. It's so easy to use, another plus. Iron Gym is my new best friend. Highly recommended. Money well spent, what more can I say? ***UPDATE*** After trying this product on 3 different doorways, it works on all 3 and each are different widths. However, I did notice how it will leave small indentations in the side molding of the door frame and sometimes black scuff marks on the paint. The foam grips and padding seem like they might last for a couple of months, but I do intend to improvise when they wear out. I'm about to place a thin piece of padding in between the frame of the door to prevent more serious damage, because I do believe with heavy usage the Iron Gym will do further and more noticeable damage to the door frame. Thinking about my weight, the natural effects of wear and tear and my passion for working out; I'm going to have to take certain measures to ensure that I do not cause serious structural damage to the door frame. This will probably do damage even quicker with heavier people, so keep an eye on the condition of your door frame after every workout. Other than that, it's still a great product that I intend to use every day.

Excellent pullup bar. Solid and reliable. - Update at end of review
I got this 2 1/2 months ago, and I have used it daily since then. I have gone from just 10 pull ups a day (in multiple sets) to more than 50 pull ups a day. Here are my impressions of this bar: - Very easy to assemble. All that is needed is included in the package, and it only takes a few minutes to mount the bar. - The bar is solid and reliable. I was a little leery to hang my weight from a door frame, but I have not had any problems. I suppose that as long as your door frame is solid you shouldn't have any problem either. There is a retention clip that is used as a sort of security measure, by the way. All in all, I have full confidence in this bar now. - It seems very well built, and I think it will stand the test of time. - Versatility: You can use this bar to do pull ups (palms facing away,) chin ups (palms facing towards you,) and neutral grip pull ups (palms facing each other.) Not all bars have handles that allow you to do neutral grip pull ups, and this is definitely a plus, since when doing pull ups variety is important (it will allow you to engage different muscle fibers in your back.) I really have not used this bar for push ups or sit ups, but alone on its merits as a pull up bar, it deserves the highest rating. UPDATE: After 4 months, the foam on the grip areas started peeling off and eventually breaking away. Maybe it's because I use exercise gloves when doing pull ups, but I think the construction in the grip area should be better. This is not diminishing my ability to do pull ups however, and given the overall quality of the bar, I still maintain my original review rating. But consider what I mentioned about the foam falling appart when you buy this product, and whether that might be an issue for you.

Good pull-up bar, but certain precautions necessary
I purchased this in August of 2015 and it has served its purpose well. Assembly was easy. If I remember correctly, it took me less than 30 minutes. I don’t use it for anything else other than pull ups and chin-ups, but I’m sure it’ll be good for pushups and sit-ups. I question how effective dips would be on this since it seems a bit too low to do a full movement dip. It has handled my weight (145 lbs) well and has not started to bend or sag. I do have a couple of complaints, the padding on the bar where it meets the door frame should be thicker. Mine degraded without me noticing and the actual solid bar started to push against my doorframe. Now my doorframe is damaged. I recommend putting a sock between the doorframe and the bar to provide more padding for protection. My other complaint is that the flat piece that goes against the wall above the doorframe could discolor your wall. It did mine. I recommend putting something in between the wall and the flat plastic part to prevent against this. Other than that, this is a well built product that performs as advertised.
