African Animals Polybag, Giraffe, Hippo, Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Warthog, Toy Figures, 6-Piece

As a preschool teacher (who's also a bit of a perfectionist) in need of animal figures, I deliberated a good long while before choosing this set. A few brands are quite gorgeous but lots of $$, and far too many are, frankly, junk with shoddy paint jobs that rub off in short order. But I couldn't be more satisfied with these sets from Wild Republic. They're nicely textured, giving the pleasing sensory feel and appearance of skin, fur and feathers. A good weight but not too heavy, well painted and a great size - again, neither too big nor small. And they stand really well! I started with the farm set (love!) and expanded with this and the Asian set. Great for block corners and small world play, our children adore them!

i bought some Wild Republic sea creatures for my niece and she loved them. and i was very impressed by the quality and realism of the figures. outstanding product. i thought i'd give it a go with another Wild Republic product and these were an immediate smash hit. she was playing with them within seconds and showing them to me and marching them around. i like that they are good sized (5"-7" as stated), so there is good detail to them. like the sea creatures, these are very good quality, too. strongly recommend for any kid interested in animals.

My kids are obsessed with these. They are a good size and nice quality!

I searched everywhere for animal plastic toys for my special needs son until I came across the Wild Republic line. They are good quality, a great price, and the size I wanted (big enough to see details and small enough to hold and have a few standing on his wheelchair's tray). My only complaint is I prefer a monkey/ape in this collection instead of a wild boar. A tiger would also have been nice. For an ape and tiger you have to buy a different set- the Asia collection. Overall, I think it's the best deal and value on plastic toys. The Learning Resources line on animal plastic toys seem too big for my son to grasp and set a few on his special tray, but they would have been my ideal- they are gorgeous toys.

My son has been using these for quite some time now and my youngest has started playing with them as well. They're great entertainment and an educational toy for them, would definitely recommend to young kids looking to play/learn about animals!

Most figures are very realistic, and some (e.g., dolphin) make squeak sound. My son loves them. BUT, they emit a strong chemical smell. I compared all the brands available on Amazon and chose Wild Republic because the product description clearly specify they meet some US & EU safety standards. Sure it's good to know they meet "some" standards, and these may be actually safer than some others that don't even bother to mention their safety. But, I can't tell any difference between these and another cheaper bulk pack that I've got from a local store (w/ no safety info on them) as far as the chemical smell is the concern. Details and colors are a little better though. I air them in an open area and don't let my boy play with them in the water.

My grandsons absolutely fav animals. He is 2 and warthog is his obsession so I found these and he was so excited. Nice large and well made animals. In my mind I thought fir the cost they would be small, so I was pleasantly surprised

These are great! They are big! They are not to scale to each other, which makes no difference to my 2 year old. They are sturdy and look good and are easy for little hands to hold, and big enough not to have to worry about my daughter choking.

My kid plays a lot with them. The quality is pretty good though the price is on a higher side. The quality is very good and kids can play with them safely.

A mi hijo le han encantado, Elefante, Jirafa,trigre,león, hipopótamo y rinoceronte, son estupendos, tienen un tamaño bastante decente de unos 12 cm de largo, y asientan bien. El oso panda es precioso y las expresiones estan muy logradas. altamente recomendable, ademas tienen un precio muy económico. El envio de amazon excelente como siempre.xD

Die Tiere sehen toll aus und haben eine gute Qualität. Sie riechen auch nicht unangenehm oder ähnliches. Ich finde das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut in Ordnung und würde dieses Produkt weiterempfehlen.

Il pacco è arrivato (come da foto) perfettamente imballato. Gli animali sono grandi (quasi come una mano adulta) e perfettamente realistici! Il materiale è resistente, ma allo stesso tempo leggero. Se il bambino per giocare fa forza sull'animale che sta impugnando, questo non si piega. Non sono lisci al tatto, ma danno l'idea del "pelo" dell'animale o della pelle. Al nostro cucciolo ( di due anni) sono piaciuti tantissimo! Li ha riconosciuti subito e ci gioca sempre, soprattutto con la giraffa! Ah, non si sono scoloriti, ne si sono rovinati, o deformati.. nemmeno dove lui li ha messi in bocca. Li consiglio vivamente a tutti perché educativi, semplici e dall'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!
