2026 and still is a sound purchase
Just incredible can’t believe I waited so long to get the monitor.

Dead pixels, dead pixels, dead pixels....
What happened to Quality Control, Apple? Out of the box, brand new screen has a big cluster of dead pixels. For this price, this is not acceptable.

Pro level (premium) display.
Pro level display that, in my opinion, is the best currently available. I produce music videos and commercials. I also produce music and write songs. Pros: Apple quality. Pristine blacks. Clear delineation of whites and grays. Near to perfect colors. Excellent print. Superb all-around presentation. Extended warranty ($180 yearly) costs are quite reasonable - which speaks to how well made this display is. Cons: None so far. I own a pair of these. One has the standard glass. The other has the nano texture. Video editing is easy peasy on both. The nano is better for editing pretty much all soft synths. (Developers invariably cut corners with those.) Yeah, these displays are pricey but after a few weeks of (often times mind numbing) research and comparison shopping competitors products purchasing these became a no-brainer.
