Amazon Basics Book Safe- Key Lock, Large, Black

Very smart way to keep the spare keys safe and avoid losing them. Blends in well on my bookshelf. Decent build quality.

This does what it says. It looks remarkably lifelike and sits unobtrusively on the mantlepiece or bookshelf. It is ideal for protecting privacy but it is not suitable for truly valuable items - after all, it is portable. But that is not to diminish the item at all. I am delighted with it.

Doesn't look like a real book but it's okay on a shelf at a distance. Easy to use, lock and secure. Useful for light things no good for bulky items. A good idea..

This was bought for a teenage family member who loves gadgets and likes their own personal space, it looks like a normal book from a distance, obviously when you pick it up you can feel it is not paper in the book and once you open it you see the safe, however it looks truly authentic as a book, it comes with a two keys also.

...for my needs and actually looks better that I expected. I have 3 of these and can recommend them for minor valuables security. I have no doubt that the professional burglar knows about these 'book safes' but he also knows about heavier and more robust 'home safes' and I don't need a large and obvious safe. For my needs and a feeling of some protection I am happy to recommend this item: AmazonBasics Book Safe- Key Lock.

This is a simple but effective way of keeping money in an accessible but unobtrusive place. The book as supplied is reasonably realistic, but I've added a paper cover from a similarly sized hardback book and it is now indistinguishable from the other hardbacks around it ;-)

Ik zocht een mooie oplossing voor het opbergen van waardevolle documenten. Het boek is geweldig. Het valt niet op en is niet van echt te onderscheiden. Er zitten 2 sleuteltjes bij. Het metalen binnenkluisje is stevig en het slot is soepel. Heb de dag erna een 2e besteld. Aanrader!

Very neat and nice product. Serves the basic purpose for keeping your cash discretely. I have gifted this to my kiddo and they are very happy with it.
