Bluelounge CableBox Mini White - Cable Management - Small Surge Protector Included

This was the perfect solution to a perplexing problem... My bathroom counter. I have so many electrical devices.... An electric toothbrush. Two electric shavers. A Waterpick. I even have an Amazon eco dot plugged in that controls the lighting. You can imagine what the biggest issue here is: Plug management. Not only that but the extremely dangerous situation of running a strip plug to accommodate all those devices when there is a sink and water inches away. I needed to buy a power strip to plug in all my bathroom electronics AND protect it from splashing water. This Bluelounge CableBox Mini did the trick perfectly. All my wires get fed into the box where there sits an included power strip. since all of this sits inside a box, none of the plugged-in connections to the strip are exposed to splashing water. I now can safely use electronic appliances on my bathroom counter. The box is small enough that it doesn't overtake counter space. At the same time, there is enough room on top of the box that I was able to place my WaterPick on top, thus saving valuable counter space. This is a really neat product, in my opinion. An essential if you want to safely use electronic devices in an area close to running water. Highly recommended!

These things are invaluable for decluttering an old house and hiding power strips used to expand inadequate number of electrical outlets. Having them not only looks neater, but it makes vacuuming or sweeping or dusting MUCH easier. Simple, elegant, durable. I have several of the larger ones, and a couple of the smaller ones. Finally, it provides a flat surface instead of what would have been a jumble of cords. I have lamps sitting on some of them!

I love this box. It is a nice simple design that does exactly as it should, hide my ugly cords. I ordered this box for my kitchen counter (see my before and after photo). My cordless phone and airplay speaker sit next to each other on the counter. My speaker has a lot of cordage as you can see. The CableBox mini is perfect. It has a surge protector with 4 slots. If you have giant plugs keep that in mind as they might block some of the outlets. Other reviewers didn't seem to like that the surge protector is beige. I actually like it. My backsplash is beige, so it was perfect. Most designers (like myself) like the cords to be white or beige as most people have light colored walls. That way the cord isn't so obvious. But of course it comes down to personal preference. Surge protectors have thick cords so like in my case most of the cord is still in the CableBox mini, but it wasn't a problem at all. The box has a semi-matte finish so it has some sheen, not too dull, not too super shiny, but I could still see some flow marks in the plastic so that was slightly annoying to the designer side of me :-) Overall a great product.

It helps keep unsightly cords & plugs all together and in a neat looking box. It also happened to be the perfect base for my external hard drive to sit on. The price is a big high, but the product works & I'm happy with my purchase.

I bought this CableBox as an alternative to the baby safe power strip covers. I read a lot of reviews & saw a few videos that prove the strip covers to be less reliable than you would expect . . then I found the cable box. It works great, the lid fits on pretty well but I did put a strip of clear packing tape across the top just for safety sake. The box is actually rather large for something described as "mini" but it works all the same. PLENTY of room inside. The surge protector that was included has 4 outlets and fits inside the box with so much room to spare . . only there's nothing else to put in there sooo . . it's really just a lot of extra space, to be honest . . but it gets the job done! I did wish however that the box had the little notches (like power strips do) that make it easy to hang on the wall, so I just drilled some screws through it, problem solved. It stands about 5" tall x about 4 1/2" wide x 9" long. The power strip is 1" tall x 1 1/2" wide x 8" long & it's cord is roughly 3.5' . . so definitely enough room to fit another one of similar size right beside it. Hope that helps :)

I have several of these in different sizes. Great quality and looks good.Plastic is thick so won't break or crack easily. The bonus surge protector is a nice touch but it's also pretty useless in the small box. Maybe in the future they'll include one with usb support. Still a very strong 5 star.

We bought this to use as an electric toothbrush stand. After looking at Pinterest ideas of how to hide all the charging cables for bathroom electronics, this was the best solution. Looks great, easy to clean, keeps the cords out of the way. The only issue is the power strip it comes with. It would be great if it had one of those lay flat power strips so it doesn’t stick out so much. Otherwise, it’s a great solution to our tiny bathroom.

This plain white box certainly looks better than the tangle of cords I had before. However, I had trouble getting my four bulky charger plugs to fit side by side on the outlet strip. I bought some Ziotek "power switch liberator" plugs (available on Amazon) which solved that problem and also completely filled the box. So, to turn it off when not charging, I have to take the top off and then dig under all the wires to get to the power outlet switch. Note that there are large slots on both the front and back for cords to come through, so people can see the cords all bunched up inside the box.

Perfect for hiding bathroom clutter. Nicely consolidates cords from water pick, toothbrush, etc.

Das ewige Problem, die Kabel etwas stylischer unterzubringen, löst Bluelounge sehr minimalistisch-schick! Die Box ist sehr stabil, gut verarbeitet und wirkt trotz Plastik nicht billig, der Preis könnte etwas mehr angemessen (=niedriger!) sein (auf der US webside bricht man leicht in Tränen aus!), aber so ist das eben mit US Produkten in Europa! Trotzdem, für Freunde der Ordnung ein sehr gutes Produkt!

The heavy cover secures itself with enough strength to prevent the box from opening accidentally by itself due to the pressure of the contents. I should have gotten the bigger one, though.

This is a ridiculous price for a small, basic, plastic box, and cheap power bar, which i didn't need.
