I am extremely impressed with Brooklyn Botany’s Cedarwood Essential Oil! I also purchased their Frankincense oil, and both have been amazing additions to my daily skin and hair oiling routine. The oils are high-quality and potent, and just a drop or two diluted in a carrier oil is all you need for noticeable benefits. I love the strong, natural scent of the Cedarwood—it’s grounding, rich, and blends beautifully with other oils. I bought this for use in my camper to help keep mice out. So far, it smells great, but mice still came in... however they were not leaving traces in the cupboards that I had the oil soaked cotton rounds on aluminum foil, so perhaps, I need to use more. I don't mind, because the smell is great!

This essential oil works well in my diffuser. At first I thought it was kind of weak smelling. Than I put it in my diffuser and the cedar filled my house quite well. I will definitely buy this again. Very high quality.

I was thoroughly disappointed with Brooklyn Botany's Cedarwood essential oil. Despite its claim of being 100% pure and natural, the oil lacks any discernible aroma, which is a critical aspect of essential oils. The absence of fragrance makes it virtually useless for aromatherapy or any other purpose where scent is important. Additionally, the oil's quality appears to be quite low, not living up to the therapeutic grade standards one might expect. Overall, this product did not meet my expectations, and I would not recommend it to others seeking a reliable cedarwood essential oil.

We came from a house that had a cedar gazebo which was attached to the house and where my cats stayed. We never had fleas. When we moved, our house came with flea infested carpets, and I couldn’t get rid of them even when I put medicine on the cats which I stopped doing now completely. I don’t put the cedar oil on the cats. I used this oil in the corners of the rooms and hall where we have carpet. This cedar oil smells fantastic. It also has a calming effect and it has gotten rid of the fleas 99%. I will continue to use this oil at my doors in my window windowsills anywhere that I think the fleas can get in and ensure that we never have a flea infestation ever again I have not even needed to dilute it and put it on the cats as I put it in the corners of their beds and make sure that the oil is never in a place where it can actually get on the cats. I recommend using this if you have fleas to eradicate them naturally and safely, but please do be careful and don’t put it directly on the Cats. It is not needed. My cats are so happy now they’re no longer scratching, and have marks on their skin or hair loss from those darn fleas

Normally I don't write negative reviews, but this is one of the few exceptions. This essential oil didn't smell like cedarwood at all, more like a very sweet cinnamon. It came in a very secure package and the glass dropper top arrived unbroken. When I put a few drops of it in my bath water, I started getting a headache within 5 minutes of the aroma spreading throughout the bathroom. It's a good price for a large size essential oil but maybe try and get the smell right?

Doesn't smell of anything have to use a quarter of a bottle in diffuser to get a faint smell doesn't smell like cedarwood at all more like moldy wood
