I upgraded to this because my Maker 3 was giving me issues after 2 years. Then suddenly my Maker 3 is working again as it should (2nd time for this miracle). I decided to keep this Maker 4 anyway because I use this for my business and I cant be without a machine. Well, wow, this is SO MUCH FASTER! Outside of the speed I see no difference between ther Maker 3 and Maker 4. The one complaint I have is that i came with the Blue cutting mat and they way they packed it, it curls around the machine. I have not been able to straighten it. works fine bit it's annoying the store with my other mats.

The light pink color is cute, easy to set up with my computer, works really well and fast, is not a small matching so if you don’t have the space maybe tink about it, it came with little supplies to start, 1light grip mat, 1black marker, small weeding tool, 3 black removable vinyls 6”x 16”, 1 smart iron vinyl same size, 2 transfer tape same size,2 yellow card paper 4.25”x 11 but honestly I was expecting more that’s why the 4 stars maybe it was on me since I didn’t read reviews before seems a really good made durable matching so I’m hopping to have it for some long time and make a lot of different kinds of projects with it.

I've been putting off buying a Cricut for years, but I finally but the bullet and bought one and it completely changed the game for me. It is incredibly capable of doing such a wide variety of things it makes me so excited about all the possibilities I have with it. The software takes a bit to get used to, I recommend just watching a quick video of how to use it on YouTube. But once you get the basics down, the rest of the software is pretty intuitive and the all the settings options are pretty straight forward. So far I used it to cut through Grafix brand shrink paper. You need to go into the settings while you're setting up the cut to make sure that the blade on the Cricut cuts with a harder pressure because the shrink paper is a little thick. But once that's done and the designs are cut, you can just pop them out. I will say though, that when the Cricut cuts shrink paper, it leaves behind little white residue specks from the cutting process, so I like to use a paint brush to brush off any debris before putting them in the oven. All in all I'm super excited about my Cricut and I can't wait to use it more!

I don’t like to make bad reviews, and when I get my refund if it’s still the same price I will be repurchasing and hopefully have better news on that review, however unfortunately I got this product on 16Nov25 and I’m returning on 17Nov25 due to receiving a faulty product so I can’t in good conscience give this one a good review. It setup and connected to my Bluetooth via the cricut designer App I installed on my MacBook perfectly fine. I used the smart vinyl with no mat that came with the machine. I put it in for the initial first “cricut” cut and I didn’t see any stenciling so I wonder was it so fine that I just couldn’t see it but I try to weed it and there was no cuts anywhere that I could find. I tried again on a small design it almost worked but wouldn’t weed, I did see the lines this time. I tried again, it wouldn’t weed again. I tried a new vinyl and tried a bigger design so I could watch and it only showed a few lines I started to notice the top left was making lines but the bottom right was not. I troubleshot the machine, I tried to add “more pressure” I tried to increase the pressure in the settings. I made sure I had the right vinyls (I only had the ones that came with it anyways) I checked to match the “removeable” or “permanent” smart vinyl with corresponding settings. I tried with the mat that came with it. I checked the blade. I opened it and made sure it was sitting in there correctly. I pressed it multiple times. I checked for debris. I called the cricut 1-800 number and an associate helped me: we tried using regular copy paper with corresponding setting and we could then see better how it was cutting more (although still not clean) on the top left and wasn’t cutting on the bottom right. So she asked if I wanted to do the email and send the videos to return etc and I would have bc truthfully their customer service is extremely patient and kind, Thank God, but I realized an Amazon return and receiving money back in order to reorder would be quicker with Amazon, then returning with cricut. So I returned my machine today 17Nov and it’s not projecting that I even have my $400+ back until DECEMBER SECOND. And I planned to sell my products starting on Black Friday. Unfortunately that will not be happening now and I will have to wait until after December starts to even be able to reorder. This is extremely inconvenient and I have $400 plus just floating around wherever that can’t be used and is just gone with nothing to show for for the next 3 weeks. It makes me feel nervous to repurchase this through Amazon as I really reall hope Amazon isn’t just secretly selling cricuts “faulty” “less desirable” “returned” “damaged” or “refurbished” products. Not only this but I started the free trial today because you have to pay to use the designer software for cricut and I used my email to sign up. So now I’ll either have to cancel and make a whole new email for the next machine. OR I will have LOST MY FREE TRIAL TIME. And will automatically be paying the 9.99/month by the time I receive a new product meaning I never got to actually use my free trial… very very unfortunate. I’m praying they if/when I repurchase this product, bc I do need this product (OR ANOTHER BRAND with similar functionalities, which I WILL be exploring while I await my money being returned) for my business.. that it will not be another faulty device. I was really excited for the product to be let down. I will re-review if/when I decide on repurchasing.
