Great once you find out how to turn it on.
It works fine after I was able to turn it on. The on button is just a raised area to the right of the place that shows the charge etc. Lower right on keyboard. Guess young eyes would have seen it long before I did. Otherwise it is nicer than the original except for needing to be charged.

Best way to ensure Bluetooth works when restarting computer
Product works as advertised. Best way to ensure Bluetooth connectivity is to turn on Surface first. Wait for computer to start and then turn on keyboard. My only criticism is that the track pad is large and can be accidently touched. Fits my older Pro 3 perfectly.

1 month in and very impressed! I was very leary of buying the "generic" keyboard option, but I am very satisfied with my purchase. the set up was very simple, easy and minimal. the keyboard functions great, my only note is, tapping the keyboard won't wake up the tablet like the original does.
