Good product and cheapest around on amazon
Not a professional plasterer but found this really easy to skim over old finish as well as undercoat plasters. Gave even suction over all areas. One warning though it is very messy to put on you will end up covered in it! I used a roller as had big area to do. Mix well before you put it on to even out the grit.Couldn't beat the price on line.

WORTH EVERY PENNY
I was very skeptical about buying this product. Our ceiling before had been covered in wood chip paper and underneath that was a lot of emulsion (might have been gloss) that just wouldn’t budge. After we peeled the wood chip off we decided we needed to replant we the ceiling as the emulsion wasn’t coming off in places. We used one coat of blue grit and got a plasterer to plaster over it. He didn’t have any problems at all. I wish I had a before picture to show but I don’t. We look like we live in a completely different house. We are so happy with the result. If you are thinking of buying because you have a problem area then BUY IT! It’s worth every penny.

24 hours before skimming
Excellent

It does the job
It gets the job done over dodgy painted back grounds, you need to give it a good whisk and even then watch you don't put it on too heavy or you'll need more plaster to get over the bumps if you're skimming.Apart from that good gear for the price.

Excellent product.
When using this product you must give it a good long mix for an even coat, plus mix again in between pouring, it gave an excellent grit surface for plastering onto.I used a brush for the corners and a medium roller for the flat surfaces.
