ABS 3/8" 10mm Inline vacuum Barb Check Valve for Liquid Air 2PCS

Amazing little check valve. I installed it on a condensate pump that removes water as the air conditioner discharges it. Prior to Installation, the water was running back into the pump, causing it the cycle too often. However, after installing us, the pump runs probably less than a quarter of the time. The valve needs very little head pressure to open, so it doesn’t put a strain on the pump. Highly recommend.

I used this item to repair my older Cuisinart 12 cup coffee maker. The original check valve which was imbedded in the input water tube had disintegrated and was not available as a replacement part from Cuisinart. I cut out the old valve from the rubber water line tubing and inserted this check valve in its place. The 3/8" nipples fit perfectly into the tubing and sealed well using some small zip ties to tighten. The coffee maker is now working perfectly again.

I bought these to install on a dehumidifier condensate line that I had run through a wall to discharge outside of my house. The line was holding water after the pump would stop and I was worried that that line would build up scum or have problems during the colder part of the year. My thinking was this would allow for the entrance of air into the line and breaking the surface tension of the water and allow the line to drain by gravity. This worked exceptionally well for my purpose and fit very easy to install into the 3/8" tubing I had been using. They appear well designed when I checked them in both directions by air pressure.

These will work great for air or water. I tried one on pontoon fuel line and it melted internally almost immediately. So dont use with gas

VERY low valve open pressure- perfect for something like a small condensate pump. I recently ran my condensate to a sink drain pipe and wanted some reassurance that if the pipes ever clog I won't have anything flowing back down to my pump.

I installed these in the line down stream of the condensate pump for my A/C unit. The first one lasted a couple of years. I noticed the pump cycling more than normal and checked it. the valve was letting water backflow. I installed the second valve ,and it failed within a week. The pump is only pumping up about 3 feet and thru about twenty five foot of line. The check valve should be able to hold against that small amount of back pressure.

Used this to connect 3/8” soft tubing to my sink soap pump to a jug of soap. Holds well with no back leakage. Fit perfect.

The check valve on my condensate pump failed, and there was no replacement available. I removed the rubber portion from the pump and installed the BBTUS Check Valve in-line on the hose. It works awesome with the low amount of pressure from the pump. It's lasted 2 months so far with no issue.
