SMEG Contemporary Digital Kitchen Scale with Removable Bowl (Black)

This scale combines accuracy with a very clean and modern design. Measurements are precise and consistent, which is great for cooking and baking. The digital display is easy to read, and the controls are intuitive. It also feels well-built and stable on the counter. Like most SMEG products, it adds a premium touch to the kitchen while still being very functional.

Works great calibration is fine. This is perfect for feeding my sourdough starter as I like to dump it into the bowl and wash the jar every time.

The only thing is, you have to weigh in a " bowl" its not a flat scale surface. That's what I wanted, but others may not. Otherwise, perfect.

This SMEG contemporary kitchen scale was what my kitchen was missing and I didn’t even know it. I massive meal prep on the weekend and having this scale with a removable bowl is a dream! I can quickly rinse it between veggies and my snack meal containers fit right inside of it. Better yet- I have an aesthetically pleasing fruit bowl the rest of the week. Score! Also super easy to use my cell phone charger for it and not waste batteries. Great value and happy to add it to my SMEG collection.

First off, this looks stylish and attractive sitting on my counter. It is rechargeable and comes with its own removable cord so there isn't a visible cord all the time cluttering things up. Charge lasts a long time, and recharging is fast. It is easy to cycle through various units of measurement. Make sure to press the "tare" button to reset the scale to zero before beginning to weigh. I found the weight measurment to be very accurate and a reading shows quickly on the digital screen. The stainless steel bowl is removable and easy to clean. I took off one star because as good as it looks, it does feel inexpensively made, light weight and the quality is not necessarily worth the price. You're paying for the SMEG brand name. I can't deny that I really like this scale, though.

This scale looks great sitting on the counter. The jade color is a soft green with a bit of shine to it, and it matches the SMEG retro style you see on their other stuff. This is really beautiful. The lettering across the front is raised chrome and it catches the light. It has that same rounded shape as their toasters and mixers. The build seems solid from what I can tell. The bowl is stainless steel and it lifts right out of the base, so it should be easy to clean or use on its own. The base is brushed metal with a rounded edge, and it feels like the weight is in the right places. The finish on the body is smooth with no rough spots. It’s a great size scale! The display sits flat in the base and shows the weight in grams, with touch pads for unit and tare on either side. It is simple to read. The buttons are responsive. Great price for the look and quality. I am happy with it and I would buy it again.

I love this kitchen scale! It's a beautiful addition to our kitchen, and looks really nice when left out on the counter. It seems accurate, but I don't have a good way to verify that. It's very easy to use, and appears to be very high quality. One button to change how it shows measurements and a tare button that resets the scale to zero. You can add ingredients to the beautiful, stainless steel bowl, then hit the tare button again to add your next ingredient, and repeat until all of your ingredients are added to the mixing bowl. When you're done with it, pull the bowl out and throw it in the dishwasher. I like that it's rechargeable with a usb-c cord like most phones use now. The battery lasts a really long time, especially no more than I use one. I'm very happy with this product and have no reservations about recommending it wholeheartedly!

For the $150 price tag it is not accurate. Check out my video if you need precise measurements this is not the item to get it looks good but not accurate!
