Uperfect Portable Monitor UGame J5 17,3" 3840x2160 60Hz

I now own two UPERFECT portable monitors, and this 15.6” touchscreen model is easily the best one yet. I initially wondered whether it would feel like only a small upgrade over my existing portable display, but once I powered it on, the difference was immediately obvious. The panel is a massive step up — it’s impressively bright, vibrant, and sharp, with excellent colour accuracy straight out of the box. In fact, it’s bright enough that my phone kept auto-dimming when taking photographs depicting gaming and YouTube images. The built-in 10,800mAh battery turns out to be a genuinely smart addition rather than a gimmick. When connected to modern laptops or MacBookAir with Thunderbolt or full-power USB-C, the battery barely drops at all. It also works brilliantly with devices like the Steam Deck, even extending play time while charging it. Not needing a separate power socket makes this monitor incredibly flexible for both home and mobile use. Build quality is outstanding. The fully metal chassis feels solid, premium, and well finished, far exceeding what you’d expect at this price point. Packaging is excellent, clearly designed to protect the screen in transit, and it includes every cable you could possibly need, along with a high-quality USB-C charger. The fact that the packaging appears to be fully recyclable is a nice extra touch. Performance-wise, the display really shines. The 1080p IPS panel is crisp with generous viewing angles, the stereo speakers are surprisingly decent for a portable monitor, and the multi-touch touchscreen supports up to eight simultaneous touch points. Everything feels responsive and polished. The on-screen display (OSD) is intuitive and well thought out, offering extensive customisation options including brightness, contrast, saturation, RGB tuning, eye protection modes, sleep timers, and multiple gaming features such as crosshairs, sharpness controls, 3D sound, and Ultra HDR. Connectivity is excellent and versatile. You get one HDMI port, two USB-C ports, and a Micro USB OTG port. It works flawlessly with a wide range of devices — Windows laptops, Steam Deck, and even iPhones (screen mirroring works perfectly). Plug-and-play support via HDMI or USB-C makes setup effortless. The USB-C port labelling is clearly marked with a power symbol for the charging port and USB symbol for other connections. Touchscreen works perfectly using a laptop with HDMI and USB leads connected together. In day-to-day use, this monitor is a fantastic solution for working from home or on the go. A great potable monitor, with a protective cover which forms as a stand. Good touch screen response. Good volume, but the 3D sound wasn't good, better without it. But the great thing is it could be connected to an external speaker. Where you could get a decent sound depending on the external speaker. Connectivity is fine. Works well with samsung dex, or other mobile phones, via USB c to c, connection. There's a slight loss of video quality but the refresh rate is OK, for YouTube etc. All necessary cables provided, but not for the external speakers. Overall good portable quality product. Hope it's trouble free for daily use for long time.

This is my second UPERFECT monitor and I couldn't be happier with either of them. The first was a super good value monitor I use mostly when working away and for the price I don't think it can be beaten! I had an issue with the first monitor where the screen ended up developing a dead band but customer service was really helpful and after a few emails to check the problem, arranged for a replacement to be sent, no fuss! Just wanted to call this out first as with lesser known brands on Amazon it can sometimes feel a bit of a risk when buying expensive tech items but after this first great experience, I can't recommend them highly enough. Anyway... onto the new monitor! I was a little worried it would only be a small upgrade over my existing monitor but after reading the reviews I was happy to give it a go and I'm really glad I did! I've recorded a short video side by side but the new panel is a massive upgrade, it's super bright (my phone kept reducing the brightness on the video) and the colour accuracy is great out of the gate. I was a bit unsure of why you'd need a built in battery as my previous one didn't but seeing the brightness of the screen it makes sense, when plugged into a modern laptop that has thunderbolt ports the battery barely goes down but on older laptops (I've got an i3 macbook air) that can't provide enough power, the battery fills in the gaps. Another real bonus is if you've got a newer android phone with desktop mode (Samsung DEX or newer Pixels) you can plug your phone straight into the monitor without any additional power sources and use it in desktop mode where the touch functionality worked perfectly and is super convenient. As with my previous monitor it's packed really well, comes with every cable you could possibly need and what looks to be a high quality USB-C charger. It looks like the packaging is all recyclable as well which is a nice bonus. The case / chassis is fully metal and has really nice quality feeling, the only thing that lets it down slightly is the power and selector knobs which feel a bit "standard" and clicky compared to the rest of the unit which feels properly premium. I've recorded a video comparing the new monitor (front) to my previous (rear) to try and show the improved panel So yeah, long story short, I'm a big fan!

I bought this monitor because I needed an extra screen when using my Framework laptop. I also wanted something that I could use to watch films on my phone and as a larger screen for my Steam Deck, this screen ticked those boxes perfectly. Being pretty lightweight (to carry from work to home) and with its own battery was a massive plus too. The screen is sharp and the viewing angle is very generous, the sound is decent and in stereo and the touchscreen is multi-touch which supports 8 touches at once. The battery is great, I've not tested it in any way but I have noticed an improvement in play time when it's charging my Steam Deck. The OSD is very intuitive to use with a push button rocker switch and separate back button. The OSD allows you to change source, mute sound, activate eye protection, delay sleep, brightness, contrast, volume, saturation, It allows you to change separate RGB values, preset RGB values (included a user defined setting). Gaming options include 3D sound, sharpness, crosshairs and Ultra HDR. This list isn't exhaustive. The monitor has four ports, one HDMI port, two USB C ports and one Micro USB OTG port. The HDMI works fine and I've not tested the OTG port. The USB C ports are labelled but the labels can be confusing: the upper port which is labelled with a lightning bolt is used to charge the battery, the lower port which is labelled with a battery sign is used to connect to devices and actively charge them. I'd have thought the opposite would be the case but c'est la vie. The devices I've used the screen with include a Framework Laptop running Fedora 35, which works as you would expect - it's a second monitor; a Steam Deck (see pictures) which again works great, including the touchscreen; and a Samsung phone (see pictures) which mirrors the screen. All in all, this is a great all-rounder which will work with almost any modern device.

Product has a metal casing which is ro ust, which i am fine with. The stand is hard to use, has to be a perfect surface. Battery life is 3.5hrs not the stated hours which is more than double that. This is even with the brightness at 6%. It was not charging the surface pro. So had no reason to discharge spp quickly. Charging the device with its own charger takes a long time overnight. Won't charge from another device. You do need both cables in. Would have preferred one cable and charge from laptop. Sound is not good, its not that loud. But isnt the purpose I bought it for. Screen for what I am using for is good, touchscreen works fine. Main issue for myself was in around battery life and charging. I have changed, my stars to 4 as customer service form uPerfect was excellent, polite and helpful.

I bought this unit primarily because it is touchscreen and has an internal rechargeable battery with 5000mAh capacity, making it truly portable. It has very good picture quality, is easy to use and it has a standard HDMI port, so no messing with adapters. It also has a Type C port, which I use to connect to my Samsung S23 mobile phone, giving me essentially a 15.6" tablet (including Samsung DeX from the mobile). This is the second unit I have had due to a problem connecting the first one with my minisforum UM790 Pro USB4 Port. I suspect that the 790 PD facility is not compatible with the portable monitor. I subsequently had excellent support from Uperfect (Anna) and due to to the great specification of the monitor, I accepted a like for like replacement at zero cost. The monitor is currently in use on the HDMI output from my USB Video Capture Card keeping an eye on the feed to OBS Studio on the UM790.

First off, the box arrived crushed in the corners - not the biggest issue as things do tend to happen during transit. Then I open the box to already opened packaging & a user manual that had been doodled all over. Clearly this was not a new product (as was how the product was advertised). Then when I plugged it in, it refused to turn on. The screen is lifeless. I used the included power supply to power it & plugged it into my mac. I followed the instructions on how to plug it in & turn it on, but got nothing from it. It is disgraceful that a shop would sell a product as new & it be sent to me in this condition. Worst experience I've ever had from an Amazon shop

I received the monitor and it worked the first time. However, the second time it didn't work. I raised a request to the support team and Anna was very helpful throughout and was able to send me a new monitor to replace the faulty one that I had. The monitor is very good and helpful for when you are moving around and need an extra monitor to work on. The battery life is as described. The monitor colours and resolution is great. The monitor has a cover that can also be used as a stand. The monitor has features for different usage for gaming or for standard use. I bought the monitor during a sale and it was a good price.
