California Coast Naturals' Olives are grown on a CCOF Certified Organic ranch along the Santa Barbara Coast where they are hand-picked and hand-packed. These olives are late harvest Whole Black Olives rolled in Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Sea Salt, then cured in the California sunshine. All of our olives are USDA/CCOF Approved Organic, non-gmo, vegan, gluten free, and naturally salt cured (unpasteurized). As a result of this natural curing process, our olives are some of the only to be considered a great source of probiotics and antioxidants. We proudly grow all of our own olives as well as many of our ingredients - if an ingredient is not grown on our ranch then it is sourced from local organic growers. As producers of Organic California Products, we ask you to please support small American farms! Review: Excellent olives - Excellent olives, very different in taste and texture from olives in brine. Very hard to get where I live. Years ago when I was growing up in St. Louis in the 50s my dad always got them from an Italian import store, and in decades past Progresso, before it was bought by General Mills(?), used to market them. On eating them for the first time about 6 months ago, I got very nostalgic, and all my friends loved them too, never having had them before Review: Delicious!!! - Absolutely delicious! Thank you to California Coast Naturals for sharing such a wonderful product! I will definitely be ordering more and sharing with my friends!

Awfully salty! Not eatable!
I have tried most of the sun-dried olives on the market. These are uneatable salty! Couldn't even finish the first one, had to spit it.

Packaging
These are the best olives you will ever taste. Unfortunately, this seller has no clue how to package them for shipment. Both times they were shipped in an envelope in bubble-wrap and both times the lid came off during shipment.

Excellent!
These are wonderful organic dry cured olives grown in California on a family farm. I called the number given to ask if they needed to be refrigerated and the owner actually answered the phone!! We had a great chat!! He said refrigeration isnโt necessary if you are going to consume them fairly quickly but he said putting them in the refrigerator will extend their shelf life so I do. This information isnโt on the jar which is why I called. This company also has an olive of the month club and they also produce and sell olive oil which I will probably order sometime. I like to support family owned businesses that are based in the U.S. and havenโt been sold off to large corporations. If youโre a fan of dry cured olives, you will enjoy these!

Mild, Dry, and Buttery
These are smaller olives, but about normal for salt-cured. The pits still in them are a bonus for olive snobs and keep some level of uniqueness for each olive. The skins have that galvanized electric flavor, but they are dry in the same way red wine is. They are consistent... you are getting a reliable product, and they pack a lot into the small-ish jar. They are salty, yes, but you must eat them differently than typical canned olives. You have to swirl them so that they gently release the flavor, and the flavor is salty, buttery, and mild. They execute what they do very well, and consistently, and I would recommend them if you know how to appreciate them. I imagine I will be purchasing these again.

Excellent olives
These are wonderful sun dried black olives. They benefit from a splash of added olive at the table. A drizzle of lemon juice can be nice as well.

terrible package wrapping
The product is great. I love it so this is the second time I bought it. But the package wrapping is terrible this time. One of the three bottles is totally broken into small pieces and the other two bottlesโ lids are open, so the olives are rolling everywhere in the package.
