Easy to setup and take down, love the built in lights and shade coverage.

This awning has been great for us so far. Comparatively good value based on other similar products on the market. Mounting hardware is of high quality. Though I did have to buy different mounts for my specific roof rack, the provided brackets seem very sturdy and would likely fit the majority of installs. Installation was straight forward, definitely recommend having a helping hand. I did mine with straps and bungies to keep it in place while I bolted it up without much trouble. The hardware, frame and canvas seem sturdy and reliable for a long time, flex and bow are pretty minimal without extra support for just quick pop out use. My only issues so far have been: - There were some small wear marks already on the cover when I received it, like it had been rubbed and frayed. I am a little concerned that long term these may develop into holes. I reached out to the manufacturer for info on ordering a spare cover just in case and got no response. - The lights are not very bright. I understand this is made for camping and honestly the brightness is often where I'd like it for the campsite BUT I would love the option to make them brighter when needed, they just don't get there. - This thing really benefits from a set of poles to support it. I wish some had been provided; I ordered a couple of sets that work OK with it but some that are built specifically for this seem like a minor thing to include that would go a long way.

This awning is GREAT! Super strong and provides great shade during the day, and nice ambient light during the night. We left it up one night when camping in our rooftop tent and a huge cold front came through. The wind gusts were up to 50mph and the awning held up great! I also love the 270 Plus driver area feature. The only issue I had was that the bag that it comes enclosed in has a small tear. Nothing that will ruin the experience, but wish it didn't come torn. Overall, AMAZING product.

Shade does the job. Brackets needed machined to fit. Tried using the lights and found the plug smashed and melted between the frame so useless. Customer service is non existent. The phone rings to a nice guy tired of getting Bunker calls. He can’t get a response from bunker either.

I decided to take a chance on this product even though it had no reviews, mainly because the reviews for their other products gave me confidence. I'm really glad I did! It was super easy to install, and the brackets that came with it were high quality, making it easy to mount on my AluCab load bars. The tension lines worked well, and I was able to get everything nice and tight. There were plenty of hardware options included for mounting, which was a great bonus. It took me about 45 minutes to install it up by myself, but I think it would have taken less than 20 minutes if I had someone helping me. I really hope they keep making more accessories for this line, because it's an excellent product for the price. Setting it up is a breeze and takes less than 5 minutes—I'm not kidding! I would definitely recommend this product and have no regrets about my purchase.

Bigger than expected, but... no option to purchase walls or poles at the moment. And plug in for lights at awkward location.

Functionally, I love this thing. It's quick to set up and take down, provides a lot of shade, is free-standing, and even has LEDs built into the support arms. For $500 it's tough to pass up. That said, getting it installed on my vehicle irked me (hence the 4 stars) and here's why; One of the brackets I received was missing the two holes that allow you to secure the bottom of the L bracket to the awning assembly, and required me to measure and drill them myself. Annoying, because it added unnecessary time and effort to the project, as well as a potential future failure point due to rust. I spray-painted the holes I drilled to the best of my abilities, but we'll see how well that holds up with time. Now granted, I could have reached out to customer service and asked for a new set of brackets, but you and I both know the sort of folks that buy this kind of product are not going to wait another week+ for a replacement bracket when the alternative is an extra 15 minutes spent with a measuring tape, marker, and drill press.. Overall it's a decent product, just be wary that their QC seems to be...nonexistent. If you buy one, look it over thoroughly after you receive it.
