Fantastic Air and Water External Sealant and Window Sill Protector!
We used this product to air-seal a new house and waterproof the window sills. There are many areas that are very difficult to tape, yet are too exposed for spray foam to last. Our solution was to use tubes of this throughout the house. We also used this on all the window sills, which worked out well since we had a window that was broken in transport and was taped off when installed. During a rain storm, water got around the tape and sat on the sill for 2 days before being wiped up. No water penetrated this product and got onto the wood sill. Because of this, we are confident that if water somehow makes it past the window caulking in the future, it will either sit on this product till it evaporates or hit the drywall and be noticed quickly (no hidden rot potential). It is also very tough once cured. I watched an installer slide a window across the sill and put a slit in the cured product. After I mentioned this, we both looked at the slit and realized that it was partially healing itself (and it didn't go all the way to the wood). This product worked great as an air seal and allowed us to seal many places we couldn't figure out how to previously. It is easy to use, however I recommend the Milwaukee 29oz caulk gun set to 2 or 3 if you are going to use it much (do not set higher unless you want to figure out really quick how to fully disassemble and clean the caulk gun). It also cleans up well with standard acetone or mineral spirits (so don't set the gun to 5 and think you will be done faster). All in all, this is a great product and I keep finding new ways to use it.

Waterproofing that works
Great waterproofing, used to seal new home but it is a bit expensive

Pricy but works well
This stuff is amazing, especially if you can get someone else to apply it for you. I used around the perimeter of my new build, and for lots of nail holes, but I got it everywhere. By the end of the project I had to throw away the caulk gun because it was all over the gun, but this liquid flash really sticks so I guess you know it works. Make sure to prep ahead for best results and use gloves. You can also fill in big gaps with foam or other material then seal with the liquid flash to avoid wasting since it isnโt cheap.

Game chnager
This product was exactly what I needed. I purchased a house that had nooks and crannies that were letter mice, squirrels, bugs and rain in. After some minor siding repairs (really a bandaid till I can reside the whole thing) I was left with some hard places to flash. I filled most of the cracks with concrete gap filler, then topped it all off with this liquid flashing. It went on smooth, was easy to use, set up pretty quickly, and then I was able to use some metal L flashing on top of it. 99% of the pests and water have stayed outside!! I sprayed it with a hose in the summer before we painted, NOTHING got past it.

Seal penetrations where Zip tape doesnโt wirk
As a part of the Zip Systems this flashing is crucial to air sealing. The product is excellent at air sealing and a great alternative to the tape flashing. We use it on the nail head locations in the sheeting and also for windows, doors, or any weird detail that cannot be completed or completed well with the zip tape It is messy and sticky. Definitely has some acetone around The large tubes are some what clunky to work with. A lot of time we will cut one tube open to be able to spread with a small putty knife. It aplys easy and smooth. The adhesion is great, even on wet surfaces. Dry time is pretty quick, real quick when hot and dry. It will surface tack up in a couple minutes

Liquid flash
I thought this was some very good liquid flashing. The viscosity of the product was excellent, sticky and spreadable.

Quality is poor
I'm a builder (25yrs experience) and wanted to try this product. The lumber company i use doesn't supply the 29oz tubes so i decided to use Amazon. I use me Dewalt battery powered caulk gun with most adhesives, etc. I used it on these. All the tubes leaked out the butt end of the gun, which tells me the 'slide' is not sufficient. Now i have to clean my gun. It's very frustrating spending money on products that should work smoothly. These caused more frustration for both the user and the customer. I would love to use this product again, in hopes that the same thing doesn't happen, and will gladly change my review if I'm happy.

Ridiculously Good product
water proofing my base anchor sill stud to the slab and this is a game changer then sealing the osb sheets to the framing studs at the bottom where the osb meets the slab. I used this 29 oz bottle with a Dewalt caulk gun and it is effortless with zero discomfort to my hands and wrist. Be advised, it is a crapshoot in terms of structural integrity of the cylinder. Some cylinders will burst and the gun will be flooded when the goop spills backwards inside the tube. You will then have to use your gloved hands to scoop the goop and manually apply it if this happens. And then you got quite a cleaning ordeal after you are done with the job in regards to the gun maintainance.
