This is the product that these tremendous headphones needed from the beginning. These headphones were let down by lack of spare parts and a tendency for perishable surfaces to fail. Sony could have made a fortune by selling replacements for perishables. Instead they came up with the hugely inferior 5 series. If you love your 3 and 4 series, buy this package and enjoy that new headphone feeling and robust protection to make great headphones last.

Not to sure why this product is frequently returned but I like it. I still have the WH-1000XM3, found no reason to upgrade since its still in near perfect condition. Since its first release, which was when I purchased it, only now has the right ear pad, the leather has a little crack. I'm so bad at replacing the ear pad so I decided to purchase this silicone cover to prevent anymore wear and tear. They're easy to clean and I like that the outer cover has adhesive to really keep it in place. If I had to nitpick one thing, it'd be the touch controls. They still register, you just have to apply a little bit more pressure than usual but still works so keeping the 5 Stars.
