Superb quality bit of kit, super easy to add additional 2TB SSD..

Perfect for my MAC M4. Inserted a 1TB memory card which initialised perfectly. Plug n play!!

Very useful and solidly built little product BUT I was plagued with the SSD (a WD Blue SA510) disconnecting randomly and it caused all sorts of issues with the Mac when it did. I have however found a firmware update which takes the controller chip from the version when purchased, which was V1.32.49.140423, to an updated version V1.34.29.011325, for which the release notes say "Fixes an issue with random SSD disconnection", so I am hoping this will resolve my issue. This is a pretty major flaw in the as-supplied firmware! Note: The only way that I can find to see the firmware version is to download the updater and run the utility called "UTHSB_MPtool_Lite" which tells you what version is installed, and enables you to update the firmware with the new version which is supplied with it. You need to remove the SSD first (presumably to avoid corrupting it) then reinstall after completing the update.

Well this came quicker then by Mac Mini order. Ordered this after watching other videos online. The M4 Mac mini doesn't have much port on this and this adds extra ports and most important a m.2 SSD slot. Plugged it into my M1 MacBook and all port work on this. It's handy as I do photo video editing so the extra SSD for storage and the SD card slot are going to be useful.

I have used this dock for a while. This is a great Addison to the new mac Mini. It has given me all the ports that the mac Mini is missing. It looks nice as well when the mac Mini is sitting on. Looks good quality. Hopefully is gonna last long time.

Simply plug on and easy to use. Also like the design and it works well.

I have recently bought a Mac Mini and it is excellent, it is fast and portable and you can use it with your own monitor. The only problem, the Mac Mini lacks ordinary USB ports and only has 1 or 2 USB type C ports. Upd: This turned out to be useless. It is heating up usb transfer speeds are too slow so I had to return it as it is no good at all. Everyone buy something else instead, and avoid this particular brand.

Thanks for sending this to me. I purchased this for an existing 2TB SATA SSD that was used in a hub I had for my Mac Mini M1. When I purchased my Mac Mini M4 Pro I decided to buy a hub with an enclosure to suit my SATA SSD. This RayCue Hub is supposed to be compatible for my SATA SSD.HDMI Hub for Mac Mini M4 Pro with M.2 NVMe/SATA SSD Enclosure. Sadly the one I received is not, it continually "ejects" the SSD. This is the message I keep getting "Disk Not Ejected Properly" .....Very frustrating indeed! I have had to revert to using the M1 hub! I can not use it and I would like to return it. Kind Regards John
