I am very allergic to mosquitos, and I live between two rice fields, a cattle pasture with a creek, and a hay pasture. To say I am in absolute hell every summer is an understatement. I am at my wits end, I was getting bit 15-20 times a night despite all of our attempts at chemical repellents on the house and on myself. When the bites can swell up to the size of my hand, it's not a fun time. Despite the mixed reviews I decided to give this a shot as the next step is a mosquito net. Worked so well I immediately bought a second one. This is from one night in our bedroom. For the first time in like two weeks I didn't get a SINGLE bite overnight. This thing is amazing. The fan isnt particularly strong so while it works amazing for weak fliers, things like houseflies may have a hard time getting sucked in.

This fly trap is AMAZING!!!! It works so well!!! It is extremely easy to use. Almost zero noise at all. The sticky traps inside are so simple to change out. It even looks good on my counter! There is no smell to it. It's got a timer on it. I always have it on. I recommend buying refills for it immediately. You'll definitely go through them. I have a fur baby so my screen door is opened and closed a lot throughout the day and night so of course we get flying insects in the house. So when it's bedtime I know this trap is going to get them before I get out of bed in the morning!! The lights on it attract them and the fan sucks them down onto the sticky trap! **BUYER BEWARE — Difficult Return Experience with Spray and Pray LLC** I am sharing my experience so other customers can be cautious when purchasing from this seller. I received the product last week and tested it the same day. The power button did not respond properly, and several of the other functions also seemed unreliable. Because the device appeared defective, I requested a replacement through Amazon. The replacement was initially approved, and I received instructions to return the original item. I carefully repackaged the device, obtained the return QR code, and dropped it off at UPS within a few hours. Fortunately, I kept the UPS receipt and tracking confirmation. About an hour later, Spray and Pray LLC canceled the replacement request. Instead, I received a lengthy message explaining possible restocking fees and stating that I might receive only 50% of the purchase price. When I contacted the seller, they asked for the tracking number. After I provided it, they asked me to explain again why I returned the device and which return reason I selected through Amazon so they could “determine” the status of my replacement. I sent them a detailed explanation the following morning. Approximately one minute later, I received this message: “Your customer service inquiry with Spray and Pray LLC has been closed.” The conversation was then closed without an explanation or resolution. At this time, I have not received a replacement or a refund. I will continue contacting Amazon and the seller because I believe I should receive either a fully functioning replacement or a full refund for a product that was defective upon arrival. Please keep your UPS receipt, tracking number, photographs, and copies of all messages when dealing with a return from this seller. My concern is not only the cost of the product—it is the way the return and customer-service process was handled.

Works well for occasional fruit flies, but it does collect I mainly bought this for the summertime because every now and then I get fruit flies or other small flying bugs in the house. I usually leave it running 24 hours, and it does a pretty good job catching them. It’s quiet, simple to use, and the quality feels good for the price. I like that I can just leave it running instead of constantly trying to chase bugs around. The only downside is that because the fan is constantly pulling air through it, dust can build up around the vents. Every so often I have to clean or blow the dust out, but that’s pretty easy. Ok, I was going to leave 1 star, but it did catch gnats and 1 small fly. Absolutely NO instructions. Took a while on Google to find how to open the trap. The tiny open/close arrows are molded in the base, on the bottom. The company web site doesn’t give any directions,either. In 2 days, it caught about 30 gnats (didn’t know I had that many) and they’re happily walking around on the sticky pad. I guess I’ll add a few drops of insecticide. I guess I’ll buy some old fashion fly strips and cut to fit. It makes a noticeable hum, but I don’t hear it unless I’m in the kitchen. It helps to place it next to your bananas.

Summer time and an open house has led to pesky mosquitos coming inside the house and this was a game changer. I was unsure if it would be worth the money given some of the other reviews, but I’m glad I took the gamble. It’s quiet even on the higher setting and the light is bright, but placed discretely it wasn’t an issue. It has caught quite a few mosquitoes and kept them from pestering us inside.
