Sof-Grip 1-Step Denture Care - 5g (1 Pack)

This stuff is disgusting!!!!! The taste it leaves in your mouth is horrendous. The cushion is so so. I was so hoping it would work because the concept is there but I wasted that money, I did what it said to do with additional soaking and rinsing and the taste was so bad it had me gagging. No matter what I did I had to remove it, don't waste your money!!!! Only made it about 5 hours and that was with taking them out and trying to rinse and nothing worked

This item was awful! I have chemical burns inside my mouth from the 2 minutes I had to keep the product in my mouth and bite down. I literally was on fire and it tasted like gasoline. 1 minute in, I begin dry heaving like I was going to throw up. But I followed the directions exactly and it didn't work. The epoxy or whatever its called thats inside the syringe was thick and clumpy from the start. I used the entire contents on the uppers (which is all I have) but I was only to use half, yet the consistency was so clumpy and dried up that even it wasnt enough. I used it last night, only had it in my mouth for the 2 mins following the directions. I had a dentist appt this morning so I had to wear them with it on there and it was burning still and because it didnt work, i had to use seabond uppers to hold them in my mouth and it was still burning for the ride from hime to the dentist office. The dentist can see the chemical burns on my upper gums and inner top lip. I told her about this product and as a dentist, she was horrified that this is sold for at home use. Everyone near my chair could smell the chemical gasoline smell coming from it when I took it out and gave to my dentist. I will never, ever again use this or anything like it. Ever!!

This works great! Especially in a smooth 3d printed denture. It does have a taste that lasts 24 hours. I didn't mind it tho because it worked

Easy to use easy instructions, but it is not an adhesive, I thought it would eliminate the adhesive, it didn't....first 20 minutes gives you hope it seems snug on gums, as it cures that changes...oh and the taste is god awful...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Which I didn’t have to leave a star at all. This stuff is disgusting. The taste doesn’t go away I had the bottom ones come lose as I was eating, but yet it is hard as heck to get off so I don’t have to taste it again. This stuff had me gagging.

A little hard to squeeze but I let it heat up a little longer and it was fine. I can actually open my mouth now without glue, and they don’t fall out! The cushion it provides make dentures a lot more comfortable too! Weird aftertaste from the product but it’s worth it! I have a calcium deposit in the roof of my mouth that makes suction impossible. This stuff is incredible! I didn’t think anything could help with that roof deposit. Thank you!

Holds well

I honestly wanted to give this 5 stars. The cushioning is amazing! I still have my lower teeth, so I tend to grind them against my upper gums and get sore spots. The Sof-Grip made my gums feel so much better. The hold was also great — I didn’t even have to mess with my usual adhesive liner routine in the morning. It gave a nice, snug fit that would have stayed put all day. Now for the downside (and it’s a big one): Do you remember that putty that came in a little tube with a red straw, and you’d blow bubbles with it? That’s exactly what this smells and tastes like. It says to soak for at least 30 minutes before molding, and I did 40 (lost track of time). When I went to mold it, it burned SO bad I had to take it out and soak it again. You’re supposed to wear it for at least 8 hours after forming, but I couldn’t even make it 5 minutes. The chemical taste was so strong it made me gag — I actually ended up throwing up. I tried soaking it in warm water with a little mouthwash (about 5 parts water to 1 part mouthwash) every night for a week, but the taste and smell never went away. And getting it off? Forget it. It doesn’t peel off easily at all — I had to scrape it off crumb by crumb with a knife. If you’re sensitive to chemical smells or tastes, I’d definitely steer clear of this one. The cushioning and fit are great, but that chemical taste ruined it for me.
