Razer actually did it, they made a good controller
I own most of the Razer controllers that they've released (pictured are just some that aren't in storage) so I'm what you may call an expert and also bad with money. Razer controllers prior have all had some issues to put it lightly, or in the case of the Raiju's so much so that the lineup is now effectively dead in favor of the Wolverine. The Wolverine v3 Pro feels like a true culmination of all the past controller issues and questionable design decisions being ironed out. I will list my own personal highlights compared to previous offerings as I do not see any of the "tech reviewers" mentioning them. + Tension on thumb sticks and full pull on triggers nearly identical to stock Xbox, stick tension slightly tighter from what I can tell and it feels amazing compared to how loose the tension on every Razer controllers has been prior + Thumbstick material and texture provides actual grip, previous controllers were slip city + ACTUALLY GOOD AND ERGONOMIC BACK BUTTONS OH MY GOD HOW I'VE LONGED FOR THIS + Face buttons have been changed for the better, sound and feel is still clicky like Razer is known for but much more muted, and in general they've felt less fatiguing to use + M1 and M2 switches changed to be same as bumper, previously they were not and had slightly different feeling actuation force needed so if you tested your fingers on the extra buttons you may have accidentally triggered them due to the lesser force needed + Actually good trigger stops bravo 👏 + Wireless that works without issue!!! On a Razer controller no less wow! + Good polling rates??? 250hz 2.4 wireless polling rate on Xbox is double than the standard and elite controller offerings from Xbox, finally a pro controller from Razer that actually lives up to the pro name. With up to 1000hz wired on PC Razer has finally caught up to current year and as a result this is their most responsive feeling controller ever. + Razer actually priced it fairly for a wireless pro controller, remembered to include a carrying case this time, and included a 10ft cable for wired. Immaculate W + Hall effect sticks in a big name pro controller, to see Razer adopt this before Microsoft and Sony absolutely blows my mind, they actually did it. Bravo. If you play on Xbox and PC it's a no brainer. While they could certainly do more in offering a wider variety of stick options, let alone the means of easily obtaining more which historically they've never done outside of ordering a "replacement set" at absurd prices from their parts store, I'm just in awe that Razer actually knocked it out of the park for once. Honestly I'm just in shock they actually priced it at $200, I feel like I actually got what I paid for so the finance team must be on vacation or something.

Next-Level Gaming Control – Precision, Comfort, and Unmatched Features Make This a Must-Have!
After extensively using the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro, I can confidently say this is one of the best controllers available for serious gamers. Razer has hit a home run with this model, combining premium build quality, advanced customization, and impressive wireless functionality. At first, I was hesitant because of the price, but this controller truly lives up to the hype and is worth every penny. The design feels incredibly ergonomic and well-balanced. Razer’s attention to detail is apparent with the quality of materials and the shape of the grips, which make long gaming sessions much more comfortable. The matte finish is also a nice touch, reducing any slips due to sweaty hands, which is a common issue with intense gameplay. This controller feels like an extension of my hands, allowing for precise control and comfort that you just don’t get with standard controllers. The wireless connectivity is seamless, with zero noticeable latency even in high-speed competitive games. It feels just as responsive as a wired setup, which is rare to find in wireless controllers. I also appreciate the versatility of the controller with both Xbox and PC compatibility, making it ideal for switching between setups without needing multiple controllers. One of my favorite aspects is the button responsiveness and the tactile feedback. Each button press feels incredibly satisfying, with a shorter actuation distance that allows for quicker reactions. The analog sticks are remarkably accurate, and I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my aiming precision, especially in first-person shooters. The Razer Wolverine V3 Pro has remappable back paddles, which are game-changers for competitive gaming. Having these extra buttons within easy reach allows for complex actions without ever taking my thumbs off the sticks, providing a real edge over standard controllers. The trigger locks are another excellent addition for FPS games, reducing the trigger pull distance to improve firing speed – a small detail but one that makes a big difference. Customizing these elements gives you an insane amount of control, allowing you to tailor the experience to each specific game genre. Overall, the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro delivers on all fronts: performance, durability, and customization. While it’s a premium investment, anyone looking to take their gaming seriously will see the value. This controller is not just an accessory but a powerful tool that enhances your gameplay and adds comfort and precision to every match. Highly recommended!

Great controller overall. Great buttons, great functionality. The shape is okay for medium to big hands. Precise sticks and triggers. Battery life is also pretty good, and you can charge and use it simultaneously. The recent firmware update brought recalibration, on-the-fly profile switching, and software hair triggers. I bought it for Xbox and it has been great for that purpose. The only real issue is the fact that it doesn't have Bluetooth/MacOS connectivity. That would probably make it the best Xbox controller on the market right now.
