Really good!
Really good! I am not sure if it’s Iranian or Spanish but the name Banu means A lady in Persian so I assume it’s Iranian. It is really good, the taste, the scent all very good. I am glad I found this product. The price is good too. I highly recommend.

The best of 10 brands
This is by far the best of the 10 or so different saffron sellers I’ve bought from, including most of the main uk supermarkets. Their saffron is very crisp and brittle compared with other brands indicating that the 1g includes less moisture (water) in the 1g weight than other brands. The saffron strands of some brands have so much water in them that the strands will bend. With this provider you’re paying for the equivalent of several g’s of saffron of other brands. Also, if they’ve made the extra effort to get organic certification, then you wonder what other extra efforts they’ve made to provide good saffron.

Poor package quality but high quality saffron
High-quality product, but poor value for the money. The packaging is underwhelming for a saffron brand, and the 'no-return' policy is a major drawback. Great saffron, but the buying experience needs significant improvement.
