If I use only 2 phases and Neutral, and only one phase of the main grid is gone, anyway, is the automatic transfer done?

The device support the single phase sources only in case if the phase-neutral voltage is in 200-240VAC range. The 120VAC single phase sources are not supported.

Has this device some protection inside, in order to never connect accidentally both energy sources (normal grid and reserve)?
