Perfect for my single-coffee drinker household.
I'm not a coffee aficionado. The extend of my Starbucks customization is adding cinnamon to my latte. I do not know what the "perfect brew" temperature is, and I do not make fun of people for "not knowing what good coffee is."What I do know is - having received this as a gift, it serves my morning coffee needs perfectly. It fits on my counter with ample space above (I wonder how small people's kitchens are that don't have this space available), and it brews a perfectly hot cup of coffee. Temperature? No idea, but I can drink it and feel the heat without burning my tongue.Yes, the Senseo may be "better with storing the coffee packets" but I prefer the cups - which was excellent since the package sat in the rain before I got home.I'm the only coffee drinker in my house, but as they have tea and hot chocolate available I'll be looking into those for my wife while I enjoy my perfect cup of coffee (which I just made and am drinking right now).PROS:- It's hot. It's small. It's a 1-2-3 process to instant brew.CONS:- Maybe your cabinets are too low to your counter, and it won't fit when open :(- Maybe you desire an insanely open counter top, so it's small foot print isn't small enough.- Maybe you like burning your mouth when you drink coffee, so you constantly sip your coffee with a numb tongue, which you won't get from this.I love it, and it's damn perfect. If it was any better it'd have bluetooth so I could txt "brew" and it'd have my coffee by the time I walked in the kitchen.

Nice if you want K-cups, buy black and decker if you use your own coffee
I love a cup of coffee first thing in the morning, to drink in bed. For years I've used a black and decker 1-cup maker. I fill it with ground coffee the night before, then in the morning add water and push the button. 3 minutes later, coffee. Simple, very inexpensive, nice looking. But the mess of the grounds and remembering to fill it the night before made me want to try the k-cups, so I bought a keurig b30. The k-cups are just as convenient as I had expected. It's a little hard to research the "perfect" coffee because you have to buy in lots of 25 or even 50 cups, which is a significant investment. I found some "barack obama" coffee on sale for $9 for 25 cups, which is 36 cents a cup. Not hugely expensive, but you have to keep buying them forever. The only disappointment is that the water well is a little smaller than on my black and decker so I can't make a full mug of coffee. It's also 4 steps instead of 1 to start it in the morning. But it won't run unless there is a cup in it to catch the coffee, which seems like a nice feature. I've seen the B40, found it less cute, but is probably useful if you wanted to store water and apparently it is faster.I would say that if you plan to use your own coffee (not the k-cups) you should save yourself a lot of money and buy a black and decker. But I am happy with the B30.

Nicely Built and Convenient
This unit is nicely built and is very compact. We live in a small cottage and not much room for appliances. If you are like us and only drink one cup at a time, it's great. No grinders, bags of beans or coffee grinds and makes great coffee.Only thing I do not like about this unit is the start sequence is a bit confusing. I suppose I should have read the instructions....I would recommend this to those who only need to brew a cup at a time. Pretty happy so far.

Keurig Coffee Maker
Sadly, this was a great coffee maker and the convenience was wonderful BUT it now doesn't work (water doesn't go through and it has a terrible electrical burning smell). I purchased it exactly 90 days ago and it is past the allowable Amazon return time frame...so I no longer have a coffee maker nor do I have any recourse. Expensive way to learn a lesson.

Great convenience, selection and savings
Before I found the Keurig B30 I would have loved to go to Starbucks every day. Most days on my 30 minute drive to work I talked myself out of stopping and settled on the free coffee provided by my employer. I think its great that my workplace provides free drinks including tea and soda. Unfortunately the coffee never tasted all that great.I stumbled upon the Keurig B30 at Bed, Bath and Beyond and fell in love with the machine. I waited to buy it from Amazon because we were due to get our Christmas gift cards from work.I have been using the B30 for two months. The coffee it makes is really good plus I love to find new varieties. My favorite thus far is Timothy's Columbian La Vereda. I run the machine once a day and our office is very quiet. At the end of the cycle it sounds like a small eruption but everyone seems to be used to my "coffee shop".The only reason I would prefer a larger model is to brew a larger cup of coffee. I realize I traded this feature for the small footprint of the B30. Perhaps one day I will get a larger Keurig. I am happy with my B30 purchase mostly because I never have the internal Starbucks battle on the way to work. I can buy 18 k-cups for what I would spend on 3 Soy Misto's.

piece of garbage
I have to say I had hopes this would work. I should have listened to the others that said theirs did not last more then six months. I bought mine the end of september and it lasted to the beginning of november. Less then 2 months. Same problem as others, the water does not go through the product correctly. To boot you also get coffee grounds in the cup. Waste of money big time!!!!!
