Great pizza peel and cheaper than the name brands. Cleans easily and pizzas glide off the peel if you used a little semolina or flour underneath.

Restaurant supply places are getting $200+ for theirs and I can't bring myself to justify that kind of cost for my home operation so...tried this out and it does a great job. I'm pretty set on 60% hydration for my dough using semolina on my marble counter to keep my dough from sticking then transferring to the peel. I'm used to a solid aluminum 16" peel and it is always iffy whether I'll get my pizza off it without distorting the round shape which is usually what happens and have had it literally bunch up in the back of the oven from sticking. This eliminates that worry. I cooked 4 14" rounds, 500gr dough, 340gr cheese + a ladle of sauce and it was no problem sliding them off- in fact effortless. The mound of cheese held without fragmenting. Wow! I'd suggest a solid peel for extraction. I was fully prepared to be disappointed but nah, this ups my game to a whole new level. I've read of people complaining of dough sinking into the holes on perforated peels but that's a matter of high hydration dough which requires a lot of release agent (semolina, flour) and is a completely different animal.

This is the perfect pizza/bread peel for our needs. It's well made and works for all of the types of bread we've made so far (loaves, pita bread, fruited dessert bread, etc.), as well as various sizes of pizzas. I hung it in a convenient spot on the cabinet adjacent to our range for ease of use in the oven, and it's a great spot to put it immediately after using it (while it's still hot). I recommend it!

Ich habe mir diese große Pizzaschaifel gekauft weil diese auf den Bilder echt gut ausgesehen hat und es wurde auch damit geworben dass die Schaufel in den nächsten 3 Tagen ankommt. Tatsächlich hat es etwa 10 Tage gedauert und ich hatte schon fast vergessen, dass da noch was kommt aber die Freude war dann um so größer, jedoch nicht von langer Dauer. Die Schaufel war Verbogen und die Beschichtung ist an ein paar Stellen auch schon abgeplatzt, dafür kann der Verkäufer natürlich nichts. Dieser wollte mir jedoch klar machen, dass das nicht schlimm ist und ich solle die Schaufel einfach so benutzen. Zudem besitzt die Schaufel keine Schräge am forderten Ende, was die Aufnahme der Pizza unnötig erschwert. Da der Verkäufer selbst versendet und nicht Amazon, gestaltete sich die Kommunikation entsprechend langwierig und ich musste Amazon auch kontaktieren um letztendlich den Kaufpreis wieder zurück zu bekommen. Abschließend sollte ich noch erwähnen, dass es sich hier um ein echt weiches, minderwertiges Alublech handelt und es sich echt lohnt, ein paar mehr Euro für ein anderes Produkt auszugeben.
