As another reviewer mentioned, this ice boot does not totally cover your foot. The top of your foot, at the bend of your foot and ankle will have no ice pack on it. This for me, was a major flaw. I need ice there. I have compensated by putting a flat ice pack over that area, and then wrapping the whole thing together with the straps. Too bad the company left out that section when designing the boot. It otherwise would’ve been the perfect boot. Maybe they did that so one can walk in the boot, but that makes no sense, because if you’re icing for an injury, you shouldn’t be walking around in the boot! So, consider this one area where the boot is missing, when you are thinking to purchase.

Straps are very long.
I got this to help with the pain in my foot from shingle’s post Herpetic neuropathy. I found the straps to be exceedingly long and would slip off the toe part if I didn’t get them tight enough. I live alone and am elderly so I found it hard to get it tight enough. The 1st time I used it I put it in the freezer for 2 hours and then also wore a heavy sock for it seemed too cold. Make sure if you freeze it for more than 4 hours to let it sit. Read the instructions.
