Nice and simple to use. I do admit to having a little trouble getting it to come on when I first tried it, but after working with it and grasping the metal cup by the side edge to turn and release it I was then able to put it back in place easily. Just find the little notch and turn until it clicks to put it back in place. It works great and is not too loud. I like that you can choose the consistency of the grind, too and it works with a timer and shuts off when finished grinding . I honestly have no negatives on this grinder and I’ve used it daily for about a month now. Check out my video to see how it’s done.

I bought this specifically to grind dried ginseng into powder. After some time, I was able to grind it into a fine powder. One drawback (and hence, the 4-star review) is because the powder gets under the bowl and also sticks to the lid-it's not easy to scrape off, but was able to get most of it with a mini spatula. I had to use canned air to get the dusting of powder out of the inside though. It's a good value for the money, and works well. It's also easy to use and the perfect size. However, it's a pain to clean out the inside of the machine after using it.

Good and practical product. Perfect for starting to grind coffee. If you’re looking for something more professional, it may not be the right choice since it grinds coffee based on time. My sister bought it too because of my advice

I didn't get this for coffee beans. The manual says to use it as it was intended only - for coffee. But others grinded seeds, and that was my reason for buying it. So far, it's ground my pumpkin seeds into a perfect "meal" that is soft and more easily digestible. I recently also ground up sunflower seeds and it worked great! Sometimes, the powdery meal sticks to the bottom, but no problem, you gently take the point of a knife and loosen it up and then just dump it out. I love this and am extremely happy to have "researched" many of these on Amazon and made this choice. I might add that it takes a while to get used to unlocking the bottom part where you put the seeds or coffee beans. I had a little trouble with it at first and thought to myself, "am I that weak"? or is there a problem with this? But I kept trying and finally got it. I think at first it's stiff or difficult but after a few times, it got easier. They say to just wipe it out to clean it, but I very carefully just give it a rinse with water and then let it dry out in the strainer. That is, both the detachable bottom part with the blades and the plastic top part. I always use the 30 seconds and hold it down but never even run it the full 30 seconds. It doesn't even take that long to grind up the seeds. The blades and speed work really well. It's very well made. I can't speak to how it grinds up coffee beans, though, but the majority of people who are reviewing can speak to that. I speak for the minority who may want to grind up seeds. Go for it! Great to grind up seeds for smoothies, too - though that's not my purpose at the moment. I bet if you threw a few nuts in there, such as walnuts or almonds, it'd grind them up beautifully. I've not tried that yet.
