Excellent to fix broken remote controls
I had a few remote controls where most of the keys stopped working due to the carbon wearing off the membrane pads and not making sufficient contact with the PCB. Putting a blob of this carbon compound on the carbon pads of the membrane fixed the problem entirely. A few tips; - wear gloves, this stuff is messy and carcinogenic - shake the pen for 30s - use a sheet of paper to clean the nib - make sure the surface is clean, IPA+cotton bud - leave for 24 hours for conductivity and strength

Amiga all better now. :)
I had no idea this sort of product existed but I'm so glad it does. I recently decided to dig out my old Commodore Amiga A500 and noticed a line of keys wasn't working (F2, 3, E, D, C). A bit of online searching and 'YouTubing' suggested corrosion on the keyboard membrane and, more importantly, how to fix it with a product like this. Thankfully, I discovered I only had a tiny bit of corrosion along one of the lines shared by these keys, and it was literally a simple matter of scratching out the corrosion and 'dabbing' over with this pen to reconnect the line. I am a complete novice at hardware repairs so I was thrilled that it worked and my Amiga is as good as new. I will just say that the pen behaves like an ink gel pen and the carbon can be a bit 'blobby' when it comes out, so be aware if using on small crowded circuits. But it's a great, simple-to-use product that has already paid for itself. Oh, and much Kudos to the seller for getting it to me so quickly...you made my day.

Great
Great, comes out a little thick though. Not Great for micro soldered pads. Have to squeeze with 2 hands as well, it's pretty tough.

Poor quality
Bottom of pen broke on first use, from a normal shake. Takes much longer for liquid to dry then it says on package. Can only draw quite wide lines using pen.

Works great on keyboard membranes
This just saved my stream deck from death. Laid it on fairly heavily over a broken trace for the keyboard membrane. Testing conductivity a few hours later it did not look promising. Testing provided no improvement. So I put it in to the pile of disappointment and sorrow. A few days later I thought lets try it again but low and behold it was working! I guess it takes a few days to properly cure. Phew. £140 saved!

Needs longer than you think to cure!
This stuff is great but it takes a lot longer than you think for it to cure, in my experience it takes about 3 days to work properly. The trace width is a little hard to control as you can see from the picture, but despite appearances this did repair the membrane contacts on the electric piano I was working on and saved £60+ on getting a new board and sending this one to landfill.

Not very conductive
I tried using this to repair some tracers on the back of my motorbikes dashboard. Firstly, it's very difficult to apply as it doesn't come out smoothly. You squeeze, nothing comes, and then you have a massive blob that goes everywhere. Even when I did lap it up, it does conduct, but it has very high resistance. Even along a very small section. You may get good results for fixing tracers that might just have the odd crack that needs going over, but not for anything major

Fixed my Philips CDI 450!
When trying to mod the timekeeper of my Philips CDi 450, I accidentally damaged one of the traces making the CDi unplayable! Bought this product the day I damaged the trace and it arrived the next day! Applied this to bridge the broken trace and now my CDi works again! Excellent for my need!

Used this to repair the contacts on a garage door keypad. Works like new. Recommend

Works as advertised. Used it for the buttons on my electronic deadbolt. Instead of spending $100 for a new electronic deadbolt I fixed it with this carbon "paint". Buttons work like new. Very happy with it.

The carbon conductive pen worked fine. I was able to revive a couple of remote controls. I'm a little unsure of the longevity of the repair so I only gave 4 stars. The remotes have been working for several weeks so I think the product is ok.
