Has anyone made lobster bisque with this? How was it, if so? Are there lobster pieces in the base?

I use this all the time..love it for lobster stew, bisque etc ..or any seafood soup, stew! NO it does NOT have lobster pieces! It is a flavor base, a very thick base. I add one tsp of the base (or TBSP at a time for large quantities) until the flavor meets my requirement I found buying WHOLE cooked, or uncooked frozen lobster at WALMART much more budget friendly! If you buy the whole lobster and cook it yourself, reduce the cooking liquid with the shells in it to one cup or less (after you've extracted the meat)for additional flavor! I make large quantities of Lobster Bisque over the Holidays for large parties and this method is a money saver, and makes it more affordable. Make it ahead, or leftovers, freeze very well in scantily (3cups) filled one qt size freezer bags, lay flat on a tray to freeze..Can make up to three months ahead. A huge time saver! Defrost overnight in bag in frig. or microwave defrost. I use crock pot to keep hot to avoid scorching (use boxed lo salt fish,or chicken stock to thin if nec.)

does this have any added seasoning like parsely, garlic, etc. that you can taste or just a pure chicken flavour?

The first ingredient listed is chicken meat and juices.  It includes salt, sugar, unspecified flavorings, turmeric, and preservatives.  It's very, very concentrated broth, reduced down to almost a paste.  Even though it's low sodium, it is still very salty.  So, use it sparingly and don't add salt to your dish until you taste it after adding the bouillon.  This brand is absolutely the best product of its kind.  It adds a depth of flavor to whatever you add it to.  I use both the chicken and the beef often.

Are they cubes or just powder you measure out?

Neither. It's a thick "base" that you can measure by tsp and dissolves in hot water. I prefer this to either of the other types of bouillon.   They have a great flavor and I love to use it in my soups and stovetop cooking.  This Is all I buy now.
