Perfect solution for adding quality NIC to micro PC/Thin Client
Perfect solution for micro PC or thin client modding. I used this adapter to replace the Wi-Fi adapter on an HP T740 Thin Client for use with ProxMox. The attached mounting bracket on the NIC was just the right size to line up on the back panel of the case after I made a hole for the port. This adapter was added to the machine along with an old SuperMicro AOC-STGN-I2S dual SPF+ card. Configuration is as follows HostOS: ProxMox 9.0.11 VM100 - pfSense, youyeetoo 2.5Gig adapter passed through for WAN, dual SPF+ card mapped for two separate LANs VM101 - Debian container for UniFi Network app VM102 - Debian container for AdGuard Home Both Debian containers connect to the default Linux bridge which use one of the SPF+ ports as bridge port. Very happy with the performance of this adapter and the system as a whole. I'm buying a few more just to have on hand for other projects.

Works great and installs in a snap
I installed this in a Dell 7010 MFF PC to use with pfSense for an offsite backup solution I was setting up. As pfSense is BSD based, it doesn't work well with the Realtek chipset NICs, so I got one of these since it has an Intel chipset. Fully compatible with BSD and pfSense saw it right away. The fact that it is 2.5GB is a great bonus. It worked perfectly right away and was as fast as expected. Installation was very easy and it connected without a hitch. For a 2.5GB NIC, the price can't be beat. I may just get a few more of these and use them to upgrade my entire netowrk to 2.5GB.

Working great so far, no installation issues on Proxmox PVE 8.4.5. I am using this in a Lenovo m920q, replacing the wifi card. The adapter shows up as: lspci: Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Ethernet Controller I226-V (rev 04)

Works great on Lenovo m90q
Used this for a Lenovo M90q Gen 3 mini desktop computer and it works great with no setup or commands needed to get the full 2.5gb throughput.

Works perfectly in Lenovo m90q is-10100. No mods , needed fits right in the expansion hole at back. even the mounting screws line up. only downfall is you lose wifi and Bluetooth as thats the slot you use this card in.
