I purchased a different rail earlier (won't name the company as I don't want to put them on blast) as it was stainless steel in color so it would match my Ruger 10/22 I-Tac barrel. Unfortunatley, the screws that came with it were too long, so the rail would not clamp down on the rifle nice and tight allowing it to wobble around even though it was specifically listed for a Ruger 10/22 rifle. This rail is perfect, nice and tight fit. My buddy has the same rifle and I sent him a link to this product and he ordered it as well. Very inexpensive and it does the job, can't go wrong.

I have a takedown 10/22 that I have equipped with a Williams peep rear sight fitted in the factory dovetail in the barrel. I have tried several scope bases on the receiver from factory to Powers Custom and a couple others big name brand bases and they all partially block the peep sight aperture when the optic is removed. This USA made UTG Pro has a radius groove cut down the center so it in no way blocks the rear peep’s aperture. I don’t know if it would block the sight if using the factory fold down sight so I can’t address that. It was easy to install, has T marks, if that matters, and comes with an extra mounting screw to cover droppage. My only complaint is they did not give you a torque setting for tightening the screws. However, 10 INCH pounds seems perfect and is what another brand of base recommends. The machining is perfect as is the matte black finish. Scope rings mount up perfectly and fit and placement of screw holes is perfect. While you big name brand fanboys who do more showing off and proclaiming how much you spent on your firearm will not be impressed, if you actually use the device you’ll have no complaints at all.

I couldn’t ask for better fit and finish. The only thing I found a little odd these days is that the screws were the “flat head” (slotted) type rather than Torx or hex drive that are a little easier to use and are more common with gun sight mounts and bases. As mentioned elsewhere, a recommended torque setting would also be useful even though I found 10 in-lb with an Internet search. Best of all: Made in the USA!

The rail fits exactly as advertised and looks great. My only complaint is the plastic and cardboard packaging allowed for most of the tiny screws to fall out prior to opening.

For the price you’d think it would be just good enough to get the job done but after installing and using it along with many other rails I found it’s very well made with excellent fit and finish. Make sure you torque down properly with recommended torque spec as you would with anything else and depending on your optic and ability you’ll have no problem getting 1/2 grouping at 50 yards in a matter of a few shots. Ended up getting a Kidd extended rail later on (another amazing review on that) but when my wife brought home a 10/22 that came with some junk rail I had to pass this on to her with confidence knowing its potential and she was stacking tacks in no time at all. Highly recommend.

Good quality and looks good.

Made in USA. Machining quality and finish excellent. Measurements are dead on, including mounting holes. Included are 5 screws because they somehow knew that I would drop one and never find it. The screws fit perfectly, and stop short of protruding into the receiver's interior by about .020". Now the one thing that would make this even better is if it were longer on the back end. There is over an inch of extra space on the rear of the receiver where this could have been made longer. I mounted my scope as far back in the rings as possible, and mounted the rings on the rear-most slots, and still have to move my head forward on the comb. If they make one that's longer, I'll buy it.

Ich hab mir die UTG MTU030T22 Picatinny-Schiene für meine Ruger 10/22 geholt, weil ich endlich mal ein vernünftiges Zielfernrohr montieren wollte. Und was soll ich sagen – das Ding passt wie angegossen. Kein Rumgefrickel, kein Nacharbeiten, einfach draufschrauben und fertig. Die Verarbeitung macht echt was her, wirkt stabil und hochwertig, und die Beschichtung sieht nicht nur gut aus, sondern hält auch was aus. Ich hatte vorher eine andere Schiene probiert, die angeblich auch für die Ruger passen sollte – hat aber gewackelt wie ein loses Zahnrad. Die UTG dagegen sitzt bombenfest, nichts verrutscht, auch nach mehreren Schüssen bleibt alles da, wo es sein soll. Die Montage war easy, auch wenn man bei den Madenschrauben ein bisschen Geduld braucht. Aber das liegt eher am Gewehr als an der Schiene selbst. Im Alltag auf dem Schießstand hat sich das Teil echt bewährt. Ich würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen – für den Preis kriegt man hier echt Qualität.
