Beautiful!
These are fantastic, and the seller stands by their product! We got 2 in our shipment, but one was a dud. The seller sent a replacement. They have grown so beautifully since! We just replanted them.

VENUS FLY TRAP in Beautiful Carnivorous Potting Medium
Arrived in beautiful and healthy condition. I did make one mistake when I unboxed this plant, in that I immediately and instinctively opened the cork in the bottle, which I forgot that you are not supposed to do. I reached out to the seller right away, fortunately, who told me that it should be okay so long as I put the cork back in to seal the mini terrarium back up, but they will send me another plant if I end up with mold or any other issues as a result. This plant is having some condensation I notice, so fingers crossed but either way, the seller gave me great confidence in the product and that they stand behind their plants! RECOMMEND

Depressing Rip-Off
The photos in the ad look great. Getting a Venus Fly Trap for $7.00 seemed too good to be true and it was. What I got is a loose bit of weed in a very small glass bottle. It had no roots into the blue feeding gel, and it had no Venus Fly Traps, open or closed. This piece of weed is about the size of a U.S. dime. This is a total fraud in my opinion. Very dishonest advertising, since the photos in the ad and the product delivered are not even close. It is a million miles of difference. Don't waste your time buying this garbage.

Grows great in the jar, dies immediately after transplant.
Ever since I was young, I've wanted a carnivorous plant. They're such fascinating species, plants that can eat animals! And the most famous is the Venus fly trap, no question. When I saw I could buy a mini Venus fly trap in a bottle that I didn't need to do anything to take care of it (for a few months, at least), I pressed "Buy" faster than I could blink. The jar came intact, with some instructions telling me to keep the plastic film on and never pull open the cork, as it will cause mold to invade the bottle. I obeyed, and watched the plant grow visibly bigger and bigger each month. After five months, the plant started to turn brownish and it seemed it was getting far too big for the bottle, so I contacted the company as to how I should proceed from here. The company replied quickly with a new set of instructions, telling me how to repot the plant. I quickly bought forceps, carnivorous plant soil, distilled water, and a self-watering pot to prepare the plant's move into a new home. I used the forceps to carefully pull the plant out of the jar, then I washed it thoroughly to clean any biogel off, as per the instructions given. Then I put it in the new pot full of carnivorous soil, watered the top with distilled water, filled the bottom tray with more distilled water, and covered the top of the pot with saran wrap to keep the conditions humid. To my great dismay, the plant turned blacker and blacker with each passing day. Within a week, it was completely black, and when I touched it, it crumbled into the soil. I had killed my first carnivorous plant. It would not be the last, as this happened to the sundew plant I had purchased from the same company, which I transplanted into a second pot on the same day as the Venus fly trap. Unlike the Venus fly trap, the sundew was perfectly healthy and green, but it too, died within a couple days of repotting. I contacted the seller and they graciously sent me two replacement plants. Currently, my new Venus fly trap and sundew plants are growing safely in their jars, but I'm dreading the day when it comes that I'll have to move them into new homes, because it's likely they won't make it, and they'll end up joining their predecessors in their earthy graves. 5/21/2022 Update: My replacement plants both died again after repotting. I give up on growing carnivorous plants, at least those from this brand. It seems they're too dependent on the special gel to grow, and without it, they die promptly afterwards, if the conditions aren't perfect.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND, LOVE THIS PRODUCT.
Edit: Promptly after posting this review I was contacted by the seller and sent a replacement immediately. I absolutely LOVE my replacement Venus Fly Trap. Although my initial review was extremely negative, the sellers customer service and willingness to help solve the problem is worthy of my recanting everything I said before. I would just warn anyone looking to buy this, to completely follow the sellers instructions that are included in the package. I do have to say I was a bit upset when I wrote the previous review but after receiving my new Venus fly trap, I completely vouch for this product. It’s the perfect way to keep a plant alive if you don’t have a green thumb. Never open the cork because it will be contaminated and mold WILL grow. I also recommend keeping the heat seal on it as well for added protection. The seller seems to always be willing to work with you so if something does go wrong, I recommend contacting them before posting a review or if you posted a review, making sure to update it cos these guys really do deserve five stars. They go out of their way to immediately offer you a new product or a refund. The least I felt I could do was update this review. Old Review: I was so excited about this only to be extremely disappointed. I really wanted to LOVE this but I'm so let down. The gel medium isn't even gel at this point and the liquid is covering the entire plant. The roots aren't even submerged in the liquid, it's practically upside down. I don't know what to even do at this point cos it seems too young for me to take it out of the jar and plant it. And that's not the reason I bought it in the first place, I finally wanted to have a Venus that would survive and this seemed like the best way and to also have a cute and quirky decoration. I don't know if I could recommend this to anyone because what I expected isn't what I received at all. This isnt a good product at all.

Don't buy
It was great it was beautiful it came in I let it grow and then it was time to get it out and replant it and I couldn't and ended up dying on me so I had to waste my money who puts this little plant and it any little bitty ball and expect it it's maturity to replant it unrealistic

Easy and Fun!
Although they remain fairly small, I now have three planters going from my original terrarium and thriving. Really enjoy and learning how to take care of these amazing plants. JP
