It is made with a wide strap across the lower part of the head and it is wide enough that it is very comfortable not like another one that had a more narrow strap there at the back of my neck that seemed to need more tightening to be effective and caused me a pain and although similar in construction to the last one I was using this one keeps my mouth closed better and the part under your chin is wider which is good and works better for me. The construction is good and the material is good as it is not foam and I had developed an allergy to the others that I have tried with the stretchy foam. With those I started getting red spots on my face in certain spots but when I quit using them and switched to this one the spots went away and have not returned. I will be using this one from now on. Thankfully, it feels much better and is more effective.

I had high hopes for this unit. I found it impacted my ability to sleep because not only does it hold your mouth shut, but it also forces your jaw backwards into a position which becomes painful. I tossed it after attempting to use two nights.

I have purchased this product and multiple times. I am usually able to use it for at least 6 months before it stretches too much to lose the effectiveness. I doubt that it will last 3 this time. As soon as I put it on my head it felt different. The fabric felt lighter than previous times. And I had to pull it tighter than before just to keep my chin pulled up. I figured maybe it will be different when I actually slept with it. Sadly I was disappointed as my sleep partner woke me up multiple times due to my snoring. Will I stop buying this device? Not unless I can find something similar and better.

A friendly word of warning. The product works great, but if you've got facial hair (I have a half inch beard) it itches like hell until you get used to it.

This is the best anti snore chin strap I’ve tried. The material stays in place even with my beard and does not slide around during the night. It fits snugly under my chin and comfortably keeps my mouth closed while I sleep. I use a CPAP with a nose cushion, and this has been the perfect solution for preventing mouth leaks. Very comfortable and works exactly as intended.

Chin strap is made of a soft comfortable material. However, the design holds pressure on the chin in the direction of the crown of the head making it ineffective at holding the mouth closed as it is intended to do. The pressure needs to be moved forward from the crown of the head to apply proper upward pressure to keep mouth closed during sleep.

So I've been using it for a week straight now and HOLY COW is it helpful—I've used 2 others straps like this, but they just fell off. This one is so fantastic and stays on the whole night! My face shape is also improving already! I have a deviated septum, so I use this in tandem with nasal strips—I'd started with just the nasal strips, but they didn't prevent my mouth from opening in the middle of the night. So I got the mouth tape next, but using that put me in a panic since I couldn't exhale out of my mouth at all. With this strap, I'm still able to exhale out of my mouth if I feel the need to and have been sleeping SO much better! For the people who say the strap doesn't work: if you haven't tried already, I HIGHLY recommend pairing it with nasal strips or the mute nostril thingies. There's a good chance you're not seeing results because you're still forced to breathe through your mouth most of the night since doing it through your nose isn't as effective.

I admit to being a sucker in my endless pursuit to not use a CPAP machine. Who enjoys something strapped to their face while sleeping? Well, this item ain't that replacement. Your jaw muscles are just too darn strong to be stopped from opening your mouth if it wants to open. I'll keep searching for other solutions and suggest you do too.

Item arrived quickly and in good condition. However, only used once as my partner said it made my snoring much worse.
