UniversalChainPole (Baretool)

Well I'm what I regard as a typical bloke, not particularly good with DIY. When assembling gear I Put it together, read the instructions later, this one no, as I saw some complaints about instructions. I doubt if it took more than 4 minutes, simples!! I'm a buffoon when it comes to this kind of gear but my dog could assemble this! Well I've got a small holding in the Welsh hills with plenty of tree cover! I have a Stink chainsaw, hedgetrimmer, strimmer and an Ego chainsaw, so I have some experience with garden maintenance. I put this together and away we went, stupendously huge smile on my face! It's light manoeuvrable and relatively quiet. Couldn't stop playing, I'll use it in anger tomorrow but instant results. I also saw some complaints about batteries not included, read the advert!!!!!! I used my old,p( 5years old ) battery, result! Great bit if kit, oh and the final best bit, no 2t, no oil, no petrol. I've got solar panesl so free!! Downside,one only, it's made in China, desperately sad about that!

As others, great product. Shame description doesnt say requires exiting battery and charger clearly. Hidden in the technical specs. I took this opportunity to get a cordless drill with battery and charger from somewhere else for 55.00. This is actually cheaper than buying a replacements from amazon.

Bought the ‘naked’ pole, as bought the charger and batteries with another tool. Came with chain already assembled on bar, 60 ml oil enough for first use, easy to put together. The strap is probably unnecessary - given the way I’m holding and using it. Maybe good for carrying to the job. Easy to extend and retract, and multiple ways to set the angle of the saw makes every situation easier. Still getting used to the stop at the end of the bar - that really didn’t need to be there, and I may, like another reviewer has done, drill that out. But - spent the afternoon removing dead and overhanging branches from 1-7 inches diameter with ease. Able to undercut the big limbs before cutting down. This is something I will use a lot, excellent bit of kit!

Wish I'd bought this years ago. Yes it feels heavy when fully extended and not held vertically but that's physics.

Easily assembled, make sure the oil reservoir is full and prime for 30 seconds before use. Its a fairly heavy tool but the strap helps the balance. Don't expect the same power as a petrol or corded system! The extension length is fine for my requirements,10ft or so. I bought it because the Bosch battery system fits all my equipment, as a Bosch fan I'm very satisfied. Great price for the "bare" tool. Very quick delivery. Recommended

Superb, I was able to cut high branches on a tree no problem and saved myself hundreds of pounds as I didn't need to get a tree surgeon to do the job.

I love the Bosch 18 v tools. Always good quality. The warranty is excellent, over the years have had two Bosch products that broke down. On both occasions, they were replaced without question, and the system Bosch has in place for Warranty returns and repairs, is the best I have experienced.

Ottimo prodotto, avevo già la batteria a casa che uso per il tagliaerba. Usato per potare una pianta a casa. Funziona perfettamente.

Used for the first time today, and very pleased with it. Seems decent quality, comes in two parts and all fits together as you'd expect. It did a good job lopping some small eucalyptus limbs on a large gum tree overhanging the house. It cut through 5cm eucalyptus limbs no problem. Balance is only okay, so definitely make sure to fit the supplied safety strap if using it up a ladder.

高い枝を切る作業を考えると良い商品だと思います、重いと言われる方もいますがこの重さがないと切りにくくなるかと思います。

Article de très bonne qualité, bien emballé et en très bon état, cependant l'utilisation est un peu plus delicate qu'il n'y paraît, la perche est relativement "courte" du fait de n'avoir qu'un seul segment étirable et une fois étiré c'est extrêmement lourd et difficile à manier car le moteur se trouve au bout de la perche, au bout de quelques minutes vos bras n'arrivent plus à soutenir la perche, prévoyez beaucoup de sport avant d'elaguer plusieurs branches ! Mais hormis cela la coupe est parfaite bien qu'un peu lente.
