I’ve owned a few Plano cases over the years for different hobbies, from rifle cases to camera gear, and they’ve always held up well. This is my first Plano 3-Tray Tackle Box, and so far I’m really happy with it. First Thoughts: Right out of the box, the tackle box feels solid and well put together. The plastic doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy, and the overall finish is nice. I also really like the green and tan color combination because it gives it that classic tackle box look. Size & Weight: One thing I noticed right away is that it’s more compact than some other tackle boxes I looked at, which I actually prefer. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and doesn’t feel oversized. Storage & Usefulness: I can see this working well for somebody just getting into fishing or even someone who already has a lot of gear. There’s a good amount of storage space without the box becoming too bulky, which is a nice balance. Overall, this feels like one of those hidden gems where you get quality, practicality, and a bargain all in one. It honestly feels like the kind of tackle box that could last a lifetime.

I was looking for a box to organize my flashlight collection and its accessories. This looked like a great option. However, its compartments were just a little too small to hold most of my lights. Unfortunately, I had to return it. It is well built and the multiple compartments are really nice. The tiers fold out nicely and the handle and latch are solid. Definitely recommended if it can fit your needs, especially at this price point.

Just arrived today. First impressions: looks like a decent tackle box, but the colors are not as pictured in the listing. The entire box is the same shade of gray, but it is two-toned in the listing. No biggie, but not as expected. Knocking a star off for that. I would have been happier with the blue one, but it wasn't in stock with two trays. Might need some decorations. Lol it seems pretty solid for lightweight use. I could probably handle being dropped from a foot or so, but I could see this cracking if dropped from a higher height like off of a workbench or something. It will be used to hold sewing supplies, which is fine. It's not going anywhere.

Great size! All round box for all your fishing tackle. Good value. Light weight construction but tough enough for all fishing environments.

We bought this to use as a medicine chest for our son’s dorm room. It’s probably way bigger than we need, but has lots of individual slots and is great quality. The latch in particular is very heavy duty.

Got this to be a portable art kit. Now I have all of my supplies at my fingertips! No more digging for paint colors or my tiny pencil sharpener! I love it - just looking at it gets me stoked to paint - and I like that I was able to organize my supplies for easy access. It's the perfect size for taking around and with some creative repacking, I was able to fit everything, even my palette and a squeeze bottle for water. I did have to trim my pencils in order to fit them in the middle tray. FYI artists, I'm using this for gouache and watercolor. Long brushes for oil and acrylic may not fit. The trays come molded with dividers. We took out two of the dividers using a dremel for more storage options - now I have a large compartment for colored pencils (see middle tray in the picture). Taking apart / putting it back together was easy with needlenose pliers and a flathead. The quality is very fair for the price. It's sturdier than a Caboodles - the outside can take a beating for sure - but the trays are clearly built to hold lightweight flies. My top tray is loaded with paint and the arms are already a bit wobbly but I just keep the top handle cocked while the box is open so the lid provides additional support for the top tray. BTW, the colors are as sick in person as they look - totally 80s! Super rad!

Great box everything about it is great tuff plastic strong trays plenty of space but it seems the trays can stop the Box from closing properly as they catch the front edge of the box real same would have been the perfect fishing box if it didn't
