Does not retain a wireless connection under 10 feet, nor does it pair easily. Attempted all reset & troubleshooting steps from mfg. without success. This device is very frustrating and unreliable.

Worked for a few months then started glitching. Connection doesn’t last for more than a few minutes before shutting off. Sound and picture quality were great. Set up was easy and I was truly enjoying the product before it started glitching.

This wireless HDMI transmitter/receiver kit works very well. It is almost too easy to use! I was able to plug the transmitter directly into my HDMI port on my gaming laptop and the receiver into the HDMI port on the front of my home theater receiver. Both the receiver & transmitter need a USB cable to plug into the side of the unit to supply additional power required for operation. I like that the transmitter has a short cable from the HDMI plug to the transmitter box. This allows a bit of flexibility that the other HDMI transmitter (Microsoft brand) that I own does not offer. The attached Velcro wraps were also a nice touch. As for use of the product, I didn’t even have to crack open the well written manual. The product was very intuitive and I believe works much better than my other transmitter. I teach classes to contractors and us PowerPoint quite a bit and cannot allow wires to lay across walkways causing possible safety hazards, so using a wireless transmitter is essential to me. This thing works flawlessly and I had absolutely zero issues. You can also connect via WiFi. If you look at my photo, you can see the welcome screen that has all the info you would need to connect to the device in this manner. In the photo, I have my gaming laptop connected to my 75” LG TV in my living room. Let me tell you that gaming on that gigantic screen is lights-out! This device is a great value and costs about half as much as the one I previously purchased. Performance is fantastic, with no screen lag and I would highly recommend this from both a value and performance standpoint.

So we live in a place where the WiFi is included. Unfortunately, the wonderful person in charge of paying the bill decided we didn’t need it. So that left us with no way to even watch tv. We contacted our phone service and switched plans to allow more hotspot space. Now we can use our phones hotspot on the laptop and watch something. With this little transmitter, we are able to plug it into our laptop and tv and whatever we have on our laptop is now on the much larger screened tv! Perfect! This device is super easy to use. It doesn’t come with the best instructions, but it is basically a plug and play device. We have no issues with any delays or anything. It simply transfers whatever we have running on the laptop to the tv. This little device is super helpful for us. We could literally use this with pretty well anything we want to watch on a bigger screen.

Transmitter came in defective. I used the same voltage as my Receiver which is 5v and my Transmitter was smoking when I just plugged it in. The compacitor is probably defective.

I couldn’t get this to work properly with the instructions and website was in a different language so it was not user friendly for English users. It requires an internet connection to use and cannot transmit independently of an internet connection.
