Mine came with a dent in it, but not big enough or noticeable enough to bother returning it. Expensive, but I've gotten a lot of complements on it. It folds quite flat and looks cool. It's also feels good to stand on. Not for everyone, but if a thin, sturdy gold ladder is what you're after and you're willing to pay for it, this should do the trick.

Very solid and stable. Also very easy to deploy and looks great! I use it in a home library and I could leave it out as it looks so nice, but it collapses so easily I leave it behind the door. Very nice purchase and a great value for the money.

Excellent quality

I purchased this to keep in my large master bedroom closet to reach items stored on my upper shelves. It is surprisingly easy to move, open, and shut. I feel very safe on it and I am 71. I purchased one with the gold color and it look nice, not that it matters. I highly recommend. I slid used it to put up and remove ornaments on my 9’ Christmas tree and as I mentioned surprisingly balanced and easy to carry and move around, so much better than the clunky one I use outdoors.
