As a kid in the 1980's a Slush Puppy was a summertime treat I remember fondly. For me there is nothing more satisfying on a scorching summers afternoon than a brain freeze inducing cup of slush! As such I could not resist pulling the trigger on this Ninja Slushie. This machine is great! Not only will it make perfect slushies, you can make McDonalds style frozen milkshakes, frozen cocktails or just use it as a drinks chiller. It comes with a little recipe booklet for ideas on coming up with your own unique creations. The machine itself is very weighty and well made, it feels like a premium product, and it disassembles really easily for cleaning. One thing that surprised me is just how fast it chills things, from the moment you turn it on you can go from room temperature to frozen in about 5 minutes. This is my first foray into Ninja products, but I have been impressed so far.

The Ninja SLUSHi is an absolute blast! It’s super easy to use just pour in your liquid, select a mode (Slush, Milkshake, Frappé, Frozen Cocktail, or Juice), and watch it turn into perfectly frozen drinks. No ice needed, so the flavours stay full and delicious every time. The large capacity is perfect for sharing, and the machine runs quietly thanks to the WhisperChill compressor. It’s fast too you can have your slush ready in about 30 minutes, and it keeps it frozen for hours. Cleaning is simple with removable parts and a rinse cycle. It’s a big unit, so make sure you have counter space, and remember it works best with some sugar or sugar alternative in your drinks. Even so, this is a fun, high-quality appliance that makes entertaining or treating yourself easy and tasty.

As soon as I saw the price on the Ninja SLUSHi Frozen Drinks Maker, I hit the buy now button – I have been looking at getting a similar device and put off by the price. It hasn’t disappointed me. It is easy to setup; take out of the box, as it has a proper compressor cooler you need to leave it for a few hours to settle down, whilst that happens clean up the drum and the rotating Archimedes screw. It’s not a small device - 41.35 x 42.98 x 16.56 cm the footprint. It weighs about 10kg. The small width makes it easier to fit on my countertop. You can make drinks as small as 450ml up to 1.9l. The controls are simple membrane style push buttons, with a heavy power switch on the back. There are safety features that detect if drinks are freezing up too hard, which sound an audible alert. This happened with my first drink a chocolate milkshake. Those safety features make using the SLUSHi simpler. The main rule of thumb is to have a high enough sugar content, or a low enough alcohol content. There are recipes included that dose up sugar free soft drinks to make them work in the machine and keep the sugar content down. My milkshake when it warmed up a little was lovely and far better than the mode on the Creami ice cream machine. It was cold and smooth with very small ice crystals resulting in little crunch. I made my morning orange juice into a SLUSHi this morning and it had a lovely drinkable texture. The only thing not in the box is a straw thick enough to drink with. The make has drinks ready in about 30 minutes. When you have made your drink there is a rinse mode to clear out the insides for another round. If you aren’t going to use it again quickly; the main plastic container slips off for washing, as does the screw. If you are using it on a hot and humid day, there is a drip dray to catch the condensation. It’s very easy to use and can even make my breakfast orange juice more exciting. Bring on summer proper.

Very robust and stylish product. This device is often emulated but Ninja build quality is usually better than generic products and they seem to make things that work easier than other companies. I got a great deal in the Black Friday week, even better than big box retailers so I’m very happy with the value and price. To avoid this icing up it is necessary to use syrups with a high sugar content, I don’t use sweeteners so I don’t know if they also work. The slushies produced are the same as the ones you can buy in cinemas and are a god send on hot days. It is possible if you can buy fizzy drinks that are sugar based to pour in a litre bottle for example and let the machine make your favourite soft drinks that are into slushie although I haven’t tried it yet. I have tried ginger ale syrup from soda stream though and that was great, I also made lemonade syrup from lemon juice and sugar which tasted fantastic but is acidic in the stomach. If you have a big family or frequent visitors this will be loved and get a lot of use in summer. It’s easy to clean and store away when not I use too.

Fun, makes some nice slush however it's far from perfect. Milk based recipes are basically a glass of pure foam, many complaints online regarding that and after trying some milkshakes and a couple of frappés just to end up with a light weight glass of frothy bubbles and no liquid, I decided it just isn't a thing and given up. Slushing Pepsi/Fanta etc works although it lacks flavor punch it's more ice with faint taste of whatever fizzy drink you put in it. Fruit juice, is pretty amazing "Apple & Mango" juice is right up there with anything you can buy from a high street, but despite washing the tank straight after I've found there's definitely a yellowy stain forming.. but fruit juices definitely pay off nicely with this machine although some fruits seem to have the sugar content to slush so it's a bit hit/miss. The other thing that's good (as you'd expect) are slushie syrups they slush as you expect and taste good - plus the added benefit of adding more/less syrup to personal taste. Machine itself isn't as big as I expected, although height wise it's slightly too high to go on worktop under my kitchen cupboards which was annoying, though also while initially using it I was really surprised how quiet the machine was but after a week I'd say it now sounds "as you'd expect" - not loud, but you can certainly hear it. Cleaning it isn't hard, generally rinsing it all under the tap is all it needs if done right away, but there are a few little nooks/crannys that seem to like holding remains so I think when putting it away for a period of time it's worth a deep clean. Overall, I like the machine and enjoy the ability to make tasty slushies especially on hot days but it comes with a notable price tag and there's certainly a lot of paid media hype behind it.

This is a perfect item to have in your kitchen especially in the spring and summer months, the slush is great and it’s so easy to use, you can use different flavours according to taste. It’s not too big either. We’ve got it right next to our ninja creami machine. Great for the summer when it gets a bit hotter, so far we’ve made frozen tropical fruit juice, chocolate milkshake, Fanta orange pop, pina colada ( our favourite) & lemon & lime slushie 10/10. Just an absolute delight to have.

I have been looking for a commercial slush machine for a long time, but the only problem was you have to re- gas them after a period of time and can be a bit costly. Wow, when Ninja bought out a slush machine i jumped at the chance and brought one. Fantastic item, easy to clean and maintain. Love it and would recommend to anyone. Value for money. Great for kids party's for normal slushies or cocktails for Adults in the summer. What a fantastic item.

I have always wanted a real slush machine since being a kid! the hypnotic swirly blades, and chaotic fluid motions, mixed with flavours straight out of a Wonka movie! The cheapest I have seen was at least £700 and require special chemicals and syrups! I was amazed when this product was unveiled to the world! As soon as Amazon had it I had to try it! So far its NOT slush! I presume that is down to the lack of special chemicals! However it is a safe (unless you have a sugar problem) alternative! For me slush is a sort of large blob of ice, and a bit of juice, like rice pudding but with rice is ice and the cream is juice! This is more like shaved flavoured ice! So no liquid juice, just frozen juice. It still falls into the parameters of slush! Simplicity! Buy any 2 litre bottle of pop, pour it in turn it on and press slush and of it goes! The problem is sugar! Eg, Lidls Freeway Cola used to be 22g of sugar and its now 11g. So it needs around 3 heaped tablespoons of sugar to slush!! The five stars is due to Aldi selling Grape and Raspberry pop! As a child of the 70's walking up Scarborough sea front with a Draculars blood slushy this is almost identical! However it requires 8-10 heaped table spoons of sugar to slush! ACE! lol So its great! your roasting hot, and need a slush! This machine is awesome! But it generates heat and a lot of it! (yes im aware of thermal dynamics, but was not aware how 2 machine in close proximity would mean you need more slush, hence im stuck in a "i'm hot and need slush, slush generation makes me need more slush!") loop! Food colours! (or color - if your a coder) So anything yellowish will stain the vessel! Orange colours are a nightmare in this device and will stain certain parts! (an eggcup full of bleach for around 30 mins will lessen the blow! but be sure to rinse very well!) So 5* from me with Dracular blood pop from aldi with 10 heaped spoons of sugar.....

Leider kam das Gerät aus UK und hatte keinen passenden EU Stecker - musste erst einen Adapter kaufen. Wenn man in die EU liefert sollte eigentlich mindestens ein EU Adapter mitgeliefert werden - kostenfrei

Uk Produkt unbedingt auf den Stecker achten das is in der Beschreibung schwer ersichtlich zum Gerät kann ich noch nicht viel sagen muß mir erst den passenden Adapter besorgen und hoffen das es Fan klappt. Es war bis jetzt super schnell geliefert und sehrgut verpackt keine Beschädigungen sichtbar deshalb erstmal nur 3 Sterne
