Good quality USB drive, nice brushed metal finish, feels solid and does what it should. My old drive kept losing connection when transferring large files (despite reformatting etc), but this one worked fine. Mainly used for transferring files to Steam Deck - The USB-C connector made this much easier. Good speeds, no issues, would recommend.

This product is fantastic, hopefully lasts. I’ve used it to transfer photos from my iPhone 13, I needed a camera connector but newer iPhones done need it. Super easy to transfer and back up your photos instead of paying for extra monthly storage. The capability for me was good but they do bigger ones. Price is more than fair. Definitely recommended.

Good quality as you would expect from a brand like lexar. Passed the H2testw scan that all thumb drives I buy go through. The inclusion of software that creates a secure folder is a nice touch. Sensitive data if placed in the encrypted folder will be safe if the drive is lost as long as you use a good password.

Super handy storage for computers & android devices, not currently so useful for iOS tho. My iPad doesn't even know it's been plugged in :( maybe the iPadOS update later this year will fix this. It does get pretty warm in use (tested with a live Linux os running on it), but I was stressing it. The live OS ran well, I noticed no slowdowns the whole time 🎉 I'll buy it again should I need another usb memory stick. Good stuff 👍

I have always used lexar products for photography and video, they have never let me down. I plugged this into my samsung, formatted it and transfered 20 gig of videos flawlessly, I have seen a review which states it gets hot which you would expect if you're transferring enough to fill up the drive. 20 gig, it hardly got warm, I would definitely recommend this drive and it's quality material of anodised aluminium. Very happy but could do with covers for the plugs when carrying in your pocket to stop debris entering 👍

Seems to be plagued with issues. Touch it while its plugged in, it disconnects. It can then decide it no longer wants to be detected in the USB port its plugged into for no reason, plug it in again and hey presto! It's corrupted and needs to be formatted a million times just to even get it working again! PC doesnt like it either, it can at random decide there is an issue with this device and advises me to unplug it as soon as I plug it in. My PC USB drivers have all be reinstalled and checked with other USB's, still nothing. Random disconnects from my laptop, xbox, pc, tablet, you name it, it doesnt like it. Speed is so up and down, super inconsistent and no its not the USB port with poor bandwidth and you could say it's the cache filling up but it highly doubt it, but overall its just not good! Amazon doesnt provide any support either, it just advises to contact Lexar, but, if I purchased a device from a shop I wouldnt deal with the manufacturer I would deal with the shop I purchased it from, no? Either way its just long, just like this review!

Fussy about what it connects to. Works fine in laptop, works in some TVs but not all. Speed ok, but not impressive. Amazon's own dual drive is so much better. Not recommended.

Compré esta Lexar D40E de 256 GB porque necesitaba una memoria USB‑C pequeña y fiable para mover archivos entre el portátil, el móvil y la tablet, y la verdad es que me ha sorprendido para bien. Es muy compacta, pesa poquísimo y el diseño giratorio metálico da una sensación de calidad que no tienen muchas memorias de este precio. La velocidad es más que suficiente para uso diario: transferencias rápidas, sin cortes y sin calentarse demasiado incluso con archivos grandes. Además, al ser USB‑C, no tengo que estar usando adaptadores ni buscando puertos USB‑A, lo cual es un alivio si usas dispositivos modernos. El acabado en color champán plateado queda elegante y no parece un producto barato. El mecanismo giratorio es firme, no baila, y protege bien el conector cuando la llevas en el bolsillo o en la mochila.

This 'Lexar D40E 128GB Dual USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C Jump Drive, USB-C Flash' is being used on my (new to me) iPhone 15. Fantastic tool to transfer photos from iPhone to PC. No lag no stalling.. smooth operation. Great quality , Wonderful price and beats iBridge / Leaf Flash drive by a mile! Side note, depending on the phone case you are using the drive may not seat fully into the port. Like mine... I either remove the case or mine is flexible enough to just push the case off at the port area. Thinking I just may get two. 128GB is alot of photos, but another could be just used for backing up the phones, PS...I am not a fan of 'cloud storage' ;) Highly Recommend this "Lexar D40E 128GB Dual USB"
