The headlight on my husband's Lincoln MKX quit working. He looked at it to see what it would take to fix it and found that it wasn't just a burnt out bulb but there was a wire that had broken off of the back of the headlight assembly. He took it to a repair shop was told they would have to replace the entire headlight assembly and the cost would be more than $200. My husband decided to see if he could fix it himself. As he further examined the repair that needed to be done he saw that the wire was actually broken at the base of the socket that plugs into the back of the headlight. He found the Lincoln uses and H11 light bulb so he he looked to see if he could find a new wire socket for it instead of replacing the entire headlight assembly. The UXCELL Car 2-wire H11 Socket Harness was the perfect item that he needed to make this repair. He was able to connect the wire ends to the wires that were already in the care and it was a relief when he hooked the socket harness to the back of the headlight assembly, started the car and the lights came on. This little part saved us hundreds of dollars in repair costs!

The front passenger headlight went out on my 2008 Volvo XC90. After replacing the bulb, the new one immediately blew as soon as I turned on the car. I quickly realized the issue wasn't the bulb, but instead a short in the wire harness that the bulb plugs into. Upon closer inspection I noticed the plastic harness was melted slightly! I purchased this product and it was easily installed in a matter of minutes. I spliced the original wires and crimped this harness into place. I suppose you could use electrical tape to join the wires, but given this is inside a headlight assembly, I was concerned about moisture, so I properly crimped the wires. So far it has held up after several cold winter months.

Works great. I was having an issue with my driver side headlamp burning out. After replacing that twice I looked into the problem and ordered this to replace a failed harness in my Chevrolet. Its been in for about 2 months now and I have had no problems. I ordered a second one to keep on hand simply because to the cost of having a spare is worth it.
